My experience at the guest house was everything I was looking for. Isla and Paul made me feel part of the family since day zero and being able to share this experience with so many volunteers (for a time we were in ten) was amazing. If you're sociable and hardworking you'll love this place just as much as I did. The work is not difficult, but it can get very busy at times. Having the same days off (Monday and Tuesday) made us able to travel together through the Highlands and make great memories together. Overall I really recommend this experience to everyone who would like to explore Scotland!

Working here at the Teamroom was such a great experience. Isla and Paul are super nice and generous hosts. I met a lot of amazing people and now I have friends all over the world. Even if it might get a bit busy on some days there is always a good vibe and laughter in the team. It's such a lovely place here and I am looking forward to come back again. :))

I loved my time at Quila Cridhe. Isla and her family will immediately put you at ease. It is fast paced work and a little hospitality experience is helpful but don't be put off, you'll have loads of time to learn. My boyfriend and I now consider Paul and Isla good friends. We will definitely come back. It's a gorgeous place and Isla has lots of suggestions for things to do. She fosters a lovely environment with all the worldpackers and we went on many adventures together. I will miss being here and miss spending time with the coos.

Our time with Paul and Isla has been incredibly special. From the time we arrived we were welcomed with warmth and laughter. You will find volunteering the guest house is as much a family experience as a working one. The work is a typical fast paced kitchen, with everyone working as a team and sharing roles. If you enjoy the satisfaction of a hard day's work in a team then this is for you. Paul and Isla will bend over backwards to help accommodate you wherever they can. It's an excellent place to make lifelong friends, not just with other travellers but with Paul and Isla and their family.

My time at the guest house was really nice! Isla and Paul are very welcoming and understanding people who you can always talk to! Even though the work is quite demanding, the family atmosphere on the farm makes up for it. You never go hungry here as there is always something to eat and you can also snack on the cakes and try out the menu. One of the highlights here are the fluffy highland coos right in front of your doorstep!🐮🥰

My volunteer experience the guest house was absolutely incredible. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by a lovely Scottish family who made me feel right at home, along with the other amazing volunteers. We shared unforgettable moments together—delicious dinners, lots of laughter, and breathtaking views of the farm and Loch Ness. During my stay, I was responsible for taking care of the cows and chatting with the customers, which made the experience even more special. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves farm life, nature, and the feeling of being part of a family.

Being in the guest house was truly such a nice experience! The hosts were very friendly and made me feel welcomed instantly! They are very understanding and lovely people who you can talk to about everything! The house is a warm and nice place to stay and I really liked the atmosphere there. Also the dog and their son are so sweet, they made my day 😊 It is quite a lot of work, but it's fun and can vary a lot so I learned so many cool new things! Thank you for having me there!

I had such an incredible stay at the tea room. The location is beautiful and I don't think I could ever get enough of the view out of the conservatory! The work was fun and fast paced with different tasks like dishwashing, food prep, serving, and waiting tables. Having the same days off as the other volunteers was nice. Isla and Paul and the rest of the family are incredible hosts and really make you feel like part of the family right away. Would absolutely recommend this experience to anyone who wants to visit the Scottish Highlands and work in food/customer service!

My experience at Isla and Paul's farm/tea room was absolutely incredible. If you're looking to immerse yourself in a true Scottish household and local town, this is the volunteer experience for you. Work can get busy, but all the jokes and good energy make the days extremely fun and enjoyable. I would consider Isla, her family, and all the other volunteers to be part of my extended family and will be lifelong friends. Can't wait to come back one day!

I couldn't have asked for a better experience the guest house! Isla and Paul are the most warm, welcoming, and fair hosts who will make you feel a part of their family right away. They are interested in getting to know you and finding fun activities for you to do. You will be very well fed and the work hours are always respected. I had so much fun working in the tea room, particularly with Dunja the full time employee there! Also if you have no hospitality experience this is a great opportunity to learn as everyone is so supportive and calm and motivated to teach you. I already miss it!
