The Experience
Come join our family farm business overlooking Loch Ness surrounded by our Hairy Highland cows. We are a family run Bed and Breakfast with Tearoom and Highland cow meet and greet. The tasks here will include serving customers, interacting with the farm animals and kitchen duties, deep cleans, painting decorating, cooking meals for staff. We are flexible if you would prefer a longer or shorter stay and also if you would like more hours.

My time at Quila Cridhe was amazing! Isla and Paul are lovely hosts, kind and generous! Little Shaw and Cola can be quite chaotic but that just contributes to the warm family atmosphere! The farm is surrounded by beautiful nature landscapes while still being well connected to nearby cities. The other volunteers were wonderful as well and we did lots of fun things together on our free days and evenings! Sadly we stayed for two weeks, but I would gladly come back (at the very least to enjoy those scones again)! Thank you Isla and Paul!

I had the best time at Quila Cridhe, loved everything. The location is beautiful, the work was fun and exactly as agreed upon. Quila Cridhe is a beautiful place, but what makes it truly special is the people there. Isla and Paul are wonderful people; from the moment I walked through their door, they made me feel welcome. Paul is an incredible person, super attentive, and has a wonderful, contagious energy. They have a beautiful and very sweet baby thanks to his amazing parents. Dunja was an angel to me because she always had a beautiful smile. Thank you for being so understanding with me because of my lack of English. It was a wonderful experience that I'll always cherish! One of the best experiences of my life. Isla and Paul welcomed me and other volunteers into their home in such a warm way that I immediately felt at home. We worked five days a week in their the guest house, where I learned a lot about hospitality and, of course, Highland Cows. They share their home and their culture with such affection. They are such kind people that we inevitably built a second family that I will always hold in my heart. I recommend this experience to anyone willing to work hard. In your free time, you can explore the beautiful highlands.

This was my first world packers experience and I must say it went better then I expected Isla explain our task really clearly and also fed us really yummy food and always making sure we are well fed Everyone I met in the farm was really friendly and helpful towards each other I definitely created a lot of memories with everyone that was volunteering there and learn lots of new skills thank you once again to Isla and Paul for letting me into your lovely home I will definitely come back and visit:)!
