I couldn't wish for a better volunteer experience, Isla and Paul have created a wonderful space for people to connect and experience what scottish living looks liek. Isla was very communicative and flexible with my arrival and helped me when there were some troubles before my arrival in Drum which I really appreciated! I've enjoyed the work in the guest house and on the days off there there were so many things to do and see, pub nights, runs or wildcamping with the other tea people. The only downside with making so many lifelong connections is the many goodbyes - I prefer a « see you soon! » xx

What an experience! Isla and Paul are such amazing hosts, and I had a truly amazing month with them. This was my first Worldpackers and it's hard to believe any other opportunity could be as good as this. Be prepared to work hard, but also be prepared to experience a magical part of Scotland. I highly recommend this experience for all Worldpackers, particularly those with a little hospitality experience, or if it is your first worldpackers. Thank you so much Isla and Paul, you will see me again soon enough as I am already planning my return. Chris 😊🫶🏻

Living and working at the guest house has been one of the highlights of my life. I have made some incredible friends and participated in some of the most unforgettable and quintessentially Scottish cultural experiences. Isla is the most generous and wonderful host and now friend. I am so grateful for her kindness and the way she values her volunteers. I felt completely at home here and will definitely be coming back again one day. I would recommend that anyone wanting to experience living in the highlands and make amazing memories should come here ❤️

My one month stay was better than I could ever imagine, and it truly exceeded all my expectations. Together with Isla, Paul, and the other Worldpackers, I felt like part of a real family. Honestly, I would be lying if I said it wasn't the best trip of my life. Isla and Paul are always there to support you, whether it's something simple like a haircut or countless useful tips and advice. I would call it a true Scottish experience for example, dancing traditional Scottish dances in a local pub to joining the big Highland Games with my friend. Saying goodbye to some people was really hard :) xoxo

Isla and Paul created such an amazing experience in the Highlands of Scotland. They instantly made you feel like family and created such a wholesome volunteer experience. Isla was adaptable and ensured that all volunteers enjoyed their stay. She went above and beyond for each person. It was truely an unforgettable time living on a coo farm and getting to experience the Scottish lifestyle. The connections made with the other volunteers will last a lifetime. Thank you ❤️

I absolutely loved my time working at Quila Cridhe. The other Worldpackers staying there and working together will be lifelong friends for me, creating memories I will never forget. Paul and Isla made me feel so welcomed in their home and made sure we had everything we needed. The work is face paced and busy but also gives you a great sense of achievement and makes a pint at the pub at the end taste all the more refreshing. Hopefully I will return one day! Thanks again for the opportunity ❤️❤️

If you want a home base to explore the Scottish highlands this is a great opportunity to do that! Isla and Paul are also very accommodating and kind. the guest house and working hours are very busy so be prepared for that but outside working hours, you can spend your time how you like :) food provided is yummy and we usually have home cooked dinners and the guest house sandwiches for lunch. There are several other volunteers at any given time and it's a great way to make friends and meet new people.

I spent three amazing weeks at the Quila Cridhe the guest house, and I honestly wish I could've stayed longer. Isla and Paul are two of the loveliest and most genuine people, and the work and the hours are very fair for all the support you get in return. Working with the highland coos was the absolute highlight of my trip to Scotland, and I already miss it so much, I am definitely considering going back in the future. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking at doing a WorldPackers trip, I had the most wonderful time. Thank you Isla, Paul and the whole team!!
