Quila Cridhe is an amazing place to volunteer! Drum is a lovely little town and close enough to Inverness that it's not too hard to get to. Isla and Paul are caring hosts who genuinely try to give everyone the best experience they can (just don't let Paul know if you think he's funny, you'll never hear the end of it haha)! Would 100% recommend to other worldpackers, especially if you're looking for a place to slow down and make some connections. LOVE Y'ALL

Staying at a the guest house with a the guest house that's surrounded by coos with views of Loch Ness was a dream! Isla, Paul, and the other volunteers were really nice, and my favorite part of working in the kitchen was when I helped prep and make the toasties and French toast! I got to try some of the bakes (cakes, cupcakes, scones), toasties, and French toast, all of which were absolutely delicious, and the family-style dinners at the end of the day (often prepared by the talented volunteers) were a really wonderful experience that I hadn't had at my previous volunteer stays! It truly feels like a home!

Quila Cridhe is not just a place to volunteer, but a home. I spent a month working in the guest house with so many amazing volunteers. I made lifelong friendships here. I 100% recommend this experience if you're willing to work hard, be a part of a team and embark on some wonderful adventures. Isla and Paul are funny, kind and genuinely try to make your stay the best experience possible. We were 8 volunteers and had the same days off, so we often went camping in the highlands and explored some beautiful parts of Scotland. Truly a dream come true. ❤️

As soon as I walked into the door Isla, Paul, and the other Worldpackers made me feel very welcomed and at home. Isla and Paul were both so generous and caring throughout my stay, making it a very comfortable environment for everyone. Having all the other volunteers helped give me the opportunity to see sights and do things I couldn't have done by myself (hiring cars and going on camping trips) every weekend. Would highly recommend to everyone. Hope to be back soon :)

Maybe you didn't know how special this would be! Thank you Isla, Paul and dunja. You were amazing. The work is simple but requires attention! The house is incredible and the meals are very good. If you have the opportunity, go and enjoy it a lot. And remember to take care of this place! Thank you the guest house and my new friends, I have family in Scotland s2

I cannot put into words how much fun I had staying with Isla and Paul. This was my first volunteering experience and I couldn't imagine it going any better. Not once did I ever feel out of place and was made to feel like a part of the family from the moment I arrived, Isla and Paul were consistently going above and beyond to make me and all the other Worldpackers feel welcome and catered for anything we needed. I ended up extending my stay from 2 to 3 weeks because I didn't want it to end. I will be incredibly sad to leave but will be leaving with so many great memories. Highly recommend

I couldn't wish for a better volunteer experience, Isla and Paul have created a wonderful space for people to connect and experience what scottish living looks liek. Isla was very communicative and flexible with my arrival and helped me when there were some troubles before my arrival in Drum which I really appreciated! I've enjoyed the work in the guest house and on the days off there there were so many things to do and see, pub nights, runs or wildcamping with the other tea people. The only downside with making so many lifelong connections is the many goodbyes - I prefer a « see you soon! » xx

What an experience! Isla and Paul are such amazing hosts, and I had a truly amazing month with them. This was my first Worldpackers and it's hard to believe any other opportunity could be as good as this. Be prepared to work hard, but also be prepared to experience a magical part of Scotland. I highly recommend this experience for all Worldpackers, particularly those with a little hospitality experience, or if it is your first worldpackers. Thank you so much Isla and Paul, you will see me again soon enough as I am already planning my return. Chris 😊🫶🏻
