My absolute favorite volunteer experience. Isla is an absolute gem who goes beyond running the family farm & the guest house. She truly makes sure everyone is cared for and understood. We each had our own spaces, comfortable environment, and the hours were honored. The bus stop is a close walk so you could get to Inverness on your days off 2 days a week. I extended 3 days in, and was there for 2 months total. It truly did become my home away from home. I highly recommend coming here!

My sister and I had an incredible time volunteering at the Quila Cridhe the guest house! We arrived as they were renovating, so we got to help with the renovation and see it reopen. It was so rewarding to see it all come together and volunteer in such a fun environment. The surrounding area is absolutely stunning, we got to experience the local culture, and build our skills working in hospitality. Isla was so so welcoming and made us feel right at home, I will remember this experience as one of the absolute highlights of my travels!

My stay the guest house was amazing!! I genuinely had such an incredible time, and Isla and Paul were the best hosts. They always made me feel welcome in their home and I spent many nights watching movies with them or just having a chat and a laugh- I really felt a part of their family!! They are super kind and generous people and were always more than happy to help me out when I needed something. Working in the guest house was so much fun and the work hours and tasks were very reasonable and always respected. Their property is just stunning with the views and ofc the coos are gorgeous too 💕❤️🫶💗😽

I really enjoyed working in the cafe and working with the team. Isla and Paul are very friendly hosts. They are very interested in their volunteers and I liked my conversations with them both. The cows are adorable and the scones are amazing. :)

My stay at Quila Cridhe was enjoyable, I met some wonderful people who made it even better. Isla and Paul were very welcoming and I felt comfortable in their home. The agreed work hours were honoured most of the time, and the food provided was good. Unfortunately my stay was cut short because of changes at the tea room; the host made a sudden decision that impacted all the worldpackers with little notice. I agree with the changes the host needed to make, but as a traveller it was too immediate of a change and created a very stressful few days. None the less I am happy to have visited.

This was the most amazing experience. Isla, Paul, Shaw and Cola are the absolute best - we would have stayed even longer if we could have. This was a home away from home and i'd recommend it to anyone xxx

Quila Cridhe was simply a home away from home. Isla and Paul are an incredible couple who are interested in you and where you come from! Our experience with the highland cows was something I'll treasure forever. I would go back in a heartbeat.

What an amazing experience it was to stay with Isla and Paul, they both made me feel apart of the family and was like a home away from Home. Everyday was enjoyable and the banter was impeccable which helped to get though a tough day. Would highly recommend staying with Isla especially if it's your first time with Worldpackers as I couldn't fault this place at all and felt safe in every way.

Isla and Paul are the best! They have a beautiful family and property, I felt comfortable almost instantly! They are very generous and helpful people, were always there to help when I needed some support. I am grateful for the rewarding time I was lucky enough to spend with them. The work can be stressful at times like in any food service environment, but they were always patient and understanding whenever I struggled. The town is quite small, but there are plenty of hiking trails within walking/bus distance which I enjoyed a lot! There is also a hostel nearby with other volunteers!

I had the most amazing time the guest house! Isla and Paul were extremely welcoming and made me feel like apart of the family from the first day. They have the kindest hearts and always made sure i was comfortable and were always up for a chat. The work is straight forward but fast paced, the workday is full of laughs and the best treats. The bedroom was very spacious and overlooked the fields. The village is quite small but there's plenty of buses into inverness. I am so grateful for the kindness that isla and paul showed me over my 6 weeks here and cannot wait to come back!
