The Experience

Welcome! We would love to invite you to our little farm in the beautiful forest 2 hours away from Oslo in the forgotten valley of Norway. We have a lot of different projects going on at the moment and we are looking for someone that can help us with construction and maintenance of the property. Here you will have the chance to gain practical skills in a lot of different areas whilst experiencing Norwegian life and culture.

The farm is farm where a happy family lives. I felt welcomed there from Day 1, they all spoke english well and made sure to always translate if the farm was spoken. The tasks given were rather simple and I was able to learn more about construction and electricity. There will be some painting involved as well. The nature around the farm is absolutely stunning and I got to go mushroom and berry picking in Summer with Lillian and Agnete :)! The cabin I slept it was very cosy and comfortable and the food is abundant. We really do feel home there :)

From the first day they make me feel at home. All the family is really friendly and lovely. The task sometimes was really easy and sometimes was hard. Depends, u work in many different areas and that's nice too. I learn many new skills. They don't just give me accommodation and food, they give me nice talks, stories, love and make feel part of the family all the time. It was an amazing experience, I really appreciate it and of course I recommend to everyone. The place is far but u can ask for a driver or a bike to go around there. The views in the valley are completely beautiful.
