I stayed 2 week with then and it was amazing. I had so much fun teaching, something that I've never thought I'd do, and it was easier than I thought. The home stay was simply beautiful, it is a very chill and welcoming place, where everyone is very friendly. The staff was very nice and helpful, and the food was great. It is a bit far from markets and 7 eleven, but it is an okay walking until there. They also offer a bamboo rafting in a place where locals goes, and that was so much fun. I'd suggest to apply for this volunteer, you won't regret it

"I had an unforgettable experience volunteering at Brain Storm! I made amazing friends from around the world and connected with wonderful local friends who taught me Thai words and sentences whenever we met. The peaceful setting was perfect for meditation and relaxation, and the staff were incredibly helpful, always smiling, and made me feel like I was home. This was hands-down the best time I had during my travels across Thailand. I can't wait to return to Brain Storm next time I'm in Chiang Mai!"

My experience was amazing! The staff were so kind and welcoming, and I got along really well with the other volunteers. The students I taught were eager to learn, which made teaching enjoyable. The homestay property was beautiful, with plenty of relaxing areas to unwind when I wasn't teaching.

I had a great time here with the other volunteers and even decided to extend my stay. The place and the staff are amazing, and you can enjoy the village and nature during your free time. The work is truly rewarding. I absolutely recommend this experience to other volunteers.

Pingpong and his family are truly amazing people. The staff literally became like my family here—they're some of the nicest people I've ever met, and I know they'll be lifelong friends. And people who I stayed with was amazing too. This was my first volunteering experience, and I actually extended my stay because I really enjoyed the teaching job. While staying here, I even enrolled in a TEFL course to get my teaching qualification, since there's so much free time. I just want to say thank you so much to everyone who made my experience unbelievably good. I didn't like, I loveeeeee it! <3 :)

I had an amazing time with the best volunteers! The teaching was through Microsoft teams and we did 5hrs each day. I did the morning shift so I could go to Chiang Mai in the afternoons. The school is 30km outside the city so can be difficult to get taxis so for anyone signing up so they can get free accom and go out in Chiang Mai I would not recommend. There are local night markets and beautiful walks and temples to visit. You will have the best people to hang out with and the staff are so kind ❤️ I loved my experience but encourage ppl to sign up for right reasons xxx

Great opportunity to practice your english and stay at a relaxed place within nature and a small city. Keep in mind that it's outside of Chiang Mai and not that easy to go to the city, but it's still a very nice opportunity to slow down, meet people from all around the world, know more about Thai culture, etc. Also, on sundays they offer bamboo rafting for a very cheap price. I would definitely recommend, especially if you wanna escape from the city's life for some time

The experience in Ban Bon Doi was amazing! In two weeks I had the opportunity to meet incredible people from all around the world, interact with the Thai local people who run the place (incredible and kind staff) and PingPong also took us for bamboo rafting which was amazing! Even not being a native English speaker I had a good time teaching and talking to the students due the flexibility the school gives you during your lessons. The food provided is pretty good and they also adapt the menu if you have any dietary restrictions.

When I first arrived at ban bon doi I was welcomed with open arms. The other volunteers and the people who work there are so welcoming and warm you have no other chance to not feel at home. The afternoon working hours are not super good because you can have classes between 3-10pm but it is still fine and i would do it again.

I stayed there way longer than expected and actually went twice. It's a remote place outside of Chiang Mai, but the small town has everything you need: a night market, food and fruit markets, a 7-Eleven, and lots of waterfalls around. The host takes you rafting once a week, there are parties every weekend at the small bar next to the homestay, and everyone is just amazing. And the teaching is pretty easy. My experience was truly wonderful, and I have no words to thank or describe how incredible it was to live there. “We don't like, we loooove🫶🏼” missing everyone already
