I spent an amazing two weeks teaching English with the school. The lessons were super fun with lots of different students and I had lots of free time to go into chiang mai and relax at the home stay. I would defiantly go again if I come back to Thailand and highly recommend to others.

Highly recommend if you are wanting to travel to Chiang Mai. All of the staff were amazing and went above and beyond to help us if needed! They arranged weekly cooking classes and group trips which we thoroughly enjoyed! We met some amazing people in our time here, and could not have asked for a better experience!! The accommodation is comfortable, the food is great and the facilities were clean. Thank you again to Paweena, for welcoming us, we really felt part of the team!!

So much fun. Great food cooked by a wonderful lady. The grounds were perfect and looked after by an amazing worker. Paternal was lovely and responded very quickly to any message. Ping pong was amazing and made for the best parties on Sundays really felt welcome. Great vibe met some amazing people who I really bonded with. The lessons for teaching went well and felt like I was really helping great students. Definitely recommend such a nice chill vibe. Got a break from crazy travel whilst feeling safe and having fun with amazing people from all over the world.

The best experience I've had volunteering. They made sure we felt comfortable at all times. The family organized tours for us and taught us how to cook local food. It's an experience I would repeat. Very well organized.

An amazing volunteering experience! The work and hours are as advertised and it is super interesting speaking to Thai people about their history and culture, I learnt a lot in my week. The food provided is great, and there is a 7/11 within walking distance if you are still hungry. The homestay facilities are beautiful and you get the entire day to explore a different area of Chiang Mai or just relax. The experience is very social, there was usually 6-10 other travellers in my time there and the homestay provides experiences like visiting national parks or socializing with the hosts.

It was my first Worldpackers experience and I couldn't imagine a better place for it. All of the team is incredibly helpful, for the short week I've spent there they organized so many activities for me and others. The place is surrounded by nature, there are many comfy spots to relax and work. You have a lot of freedom in carrying lessons, and the schedule is clear. The team helps you with everything so you never feel left out on anything. Definitely recommend, wish I could stay longer

The best volunteering experience we've ever had. The hosts organized parties every Friday, inviting us for beers to relax after the week. The food was delicious, and they always provided lunch and dinner. We worked 5 hours from Monday to Friday, and honestly, I loved it. The group of people we met was amazing—10 out of 10. The house is beautiful and very spacious. We had every morning free. Without a doubt, I would recommend this place.

It was all good in the end. The host was nice. I personally liked the food. I think It was easier for me to have rice every day because rice is basically the main meal in Asia. Rice & soup, just typical household food. Renting a motorcycle could be a great idea as well. I mainly just stayed in the area but it'd get boring easily. I did the elephant sanctuary tour, you can do it at a discounted price. Teaching english was fine as a non native speaker too!

You'll meet lots of volunteers, and Paweena + team looked after me twice when I was sick. They host lovely events and it's a super social opportunity. That being said - it's tar out the city so if you do not have a bike/car it'll be hard to go and do much! Therefore you may just stay and chill instead. Mattresses were uncomfortable but that was my only downside really - and that I got used to! Food was lovely and Paweena was super accommodating. Thank you for a wonderful first experience!! Highly recommend <3
