It was my first Worldpackers experience and I couldn't imagine a better place for it. All of the team is incredibly helpful, for the short week I've spent there they organized so many activities for me and others. The place is surrounded by nature, there are many comfy spots to relax and work. You have a lot of freedom in carrying lessons, and the schedule is clear. The team helps you with everything so you never feel left out on anything. Definitely recommend, wish I could stay longer

The best volunteering experience we've ever had. The hosts organized parties every Friday, inviting us for beers to relax after the week. The food was delicious, and they always provided lunch and dinner. We worked 5 hours from Monday to Friday, and honestly, I loved it. The group of people we met was amazing—10 out of 10. The house is beautiful and very spacious. We had every morning free. Without a doubt, I would recommend this place.

If you want to have a chill and fun experience, come here. Poweena and Pingpong are the best hosts and always so helpful and friendly. You'll meet amazing people and have such delicious meals!

It was all good in the end. The host was nice. I personally liked the food. I think It was easier for me to have rice every day because rice is basically the main meal in Asia. Rice & soup, just typical household food. Renting a motorcycle could be a great idea as well. I mainly just stayed in the area but it'd get boring easily. I did the elephant sanctuary tour, you can do it at a discounted price. Teaching english was fine as a non native speaker too!

You'll meet lots of volunteers, and Paweena + team looked after me twice when I was sick. They host lovely events and it's a super social opportunity. That being said - it's tar out the city so if you do not have a bike/car it'll be hard to go and do much! Therefore you may just stay and chill instead. Mattresses were uncomfortable but that was my only downside really - and that I got used to! Food was lovely and Paweena was super accommodating. Thank you for a wonderful first experience!! Highly recommend <3

Staying here was a great experience! Connecting with all the other volunteers was amazing and also the classes online were great! It's true it's outside of Chiang Mai but staying here was a good reset, the house has green spaces everywhere and you feel at calm and peace

I've had a great week at the school, everyone here has been welcoming and tasks were clear and easy to complete. The students were lovely and grateful to converse with a native english speaker. What made this experience was the group of volunteers who were from all over the world, I could meet people I will keep in touch with outside of this experience! Staying south of Chiang Mai city we could discover amazing national parks and waterfalls, a great place to stay!

The homestay from which I did the volunteering was truly beautiful, clean and peaceful. The staff and fellow volunteers created an amazing atmosphere to truly be able to live a slow paced and fullfilling experience. The students we taught online were varying in age, experience level and motivation. This made the teaching experience fun, exciting and sometimes a bit challenging (which I liked). I also learned a lot from the students as they are very keen on telling about themselves. I reccomend this place for sure as all facilitaties were perfectly in order.

I spent a week teaching English online at Ban Bon Doi Homestay. It's nestled in a peaceful village (Mao Wang) near Chiang Mai, the food is delicious, and the people (staff and students) are incredibly kind and welcoming. The hosts and her team, go above and beyond to make you feel at home. The facilities are clean and comfortable, and the teaching schedule is manageable: 4–6 online classes, five days a week. You'll be creating your own lessons, spending time outdoors, and connecting deeply with the local community or just chill.
