My experience staying at Ban Bon Doi Homestay was so peaceful and relaxing! Everyone was so welcoming, the place was very quiet, the free meals were so tasty, and I really liked the students I taught! I would recommend this Worldpackers to anyone that is looking for a good place to escape the busy city and slow down. My favourite part was meeting the other volunteers and getting to learn more about Thai culture during my teaching sessions! I am so grateful for this experience :)

The experience was okay, the 3 meals are tasty as well as the staff but Anyway I think the shift are too much. Because even if you have only few classes in your schedule they can add you classes at any time because are online classes by Skype in between of 3pm to 10 pm so technically you can't make anything else during your afternoon. If you have experience teaching online you will be alright. And for 1 week it's fine. I stayed 3 weeks. The activities to the bamboo rafting and the barbeque were nice. I really appreciate! Thanks for open the doors to me.

This is the right place to spend time in peace and calmness. It's a rural area surrounded by nature. In our free time, we went rafting, and since it's about an hour from Chiang Mai, we went there on the weekends. Sometimes, the work was quite hard. This time, we had almost six classes per day, so it's better to be prepared. For me, it was a good experience and a pleasant time spent.

It's an amazing place, met so many great people there and the food is delicious. Classes run from 3.10 until 8.40 Only downside is that it's quite far away from the city so it's really hard to get a Grab.

The is school is great! They have a lot of students with differents ages. The work is to teach online so for me was rewarding. The kids are so smart but definitely you need to have patience. I feel very comfortable in the place so I totally recommend this place. 6 classes maximum and in between some breaks. The only thing I could say it's about food, it's so good but if you are used to eat good breakfast and during the day, you will have to spend a little bit more. Awesome place, awesome experience!

Great way to meet people in a nice local spot with some great students to teach English too and as an added bonus they teach you sometimes.

I'm so glad that I'm able to volunteer on this trip! Teaching has been a great learning experience for me and on top of that it was awesome knowing other travellers around the world as well. Also thank you so much for the meals provided, I would say that location wise is really not the most ideal if you're thinking of exploring the city during your free time because it's nowhere bear the city. You might only be able to explore the city during your off days. But anyway, thank you so much for the experience! I hope to come back again :)

Honestly, I had such an amazing time here. Uncle Ping-pong, Gong and Beth are all so cool. The work was super easy, online one on one with a student. The food was so good! I'd 100% come back here if I could. The only thing to be mindful about is that it is 30 to 40 minutes outside the city so you do spend a lot of time at the homestead, but it's so peaceful and nice there I have no complaints. And you're with so many other volunteers which is fun
