I had such a wonderful experience volunteering here! The staff were incredibly welcoming and warm, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The work itself was both fun and straightforward, which made it easy to enjoy and stay motivated. It was also a great opportunity to meet other volunteers and students—everyone was so friendly and open. We even spent time together during our free hours, doing fun activities that added to the whole experience. I'm so grateful for this opportunity and would highly recommend it to anyone considering volunteering here!

My favorite world packers experience yet. All of the staff is absolutely lovely. Hours are super manageable, and you get the weekend off. The area is a little secluded but plenty of time to explore.

Super great place! You get to spend most of the day chilling and exploring the local area and then only teach English in the evening. The teaching is super chill and easy most of the students want to practice their English with someone that speaks English more fluently. The weekends are fully off and you can go explore all of the surrounding areas like chaing mai, pai and chaing dao. Also the cooking classes are so fun and the food that they provide for free is amazing! Really great place !

My experience was Greta! The place is peaceful and relaxing, it's fare from the city bug you can easily reach markets by walking. Food is good and people are so nice. Ooman was always flexible respecting the needs of all volunteers.

I have really enjoyed this volunteering position and plan to come back soon! The hosts and other travellers have been great and the teaching has been a really great experience with some lovely students. Maximum 5 students every evening in a one on one Skype call with two days off a week. Food has been brilliant and the place that we stay is absolutely beautiful. Lovely locals around and plenty to see while walking around the area 😌

My stay at banbondoi was so good, you live in nature, you eat clean food and you enjoy nature . The work is not hard I taught online English classes to Thai students from all ages and you can enjoy the rest of your day, also there is a cute bar in the place you can enjoy hanging out at, they also have cooking classes for volunteers which was so fun and lovely

The accommodation was basic, with almost no bathroom privacy and open-air sinks. The surroundings were truly beautiful and offered meaningful space to reconnect with nature, which I appreciated. However, the meals provided were often insufficient, and the workload felt disproportionately heavy, making the exchange feel unbalanced. At the same time, I'm glad I was able to deliver exceptional lessons and meet new students each day. I truly hope the host can take this feedback with kindness and use it to create a more comfortable and supportive experience for future volunteers.

Thank you for your feedback. For clarity, our agreement allows up to 6 classes per day, 5 days a week. During your stay from 13 November to 7 December (25 days), we assigned you around 65 classes in total. However, the number of classes you actually taught was lower due to student cancellations and occasional Microsoft Teams issues. This means your actual workload averaged approximately 2.6 classes per day, which is well below the agreed maximum. We appreciate your comments .
