Teach English & Live Like a local in Chaing mai, Thailand...

This was my first time volunteering and i can definitely recommend it! The people living there are the sweetest and the other volunteers became like a second family. The work was easy and very manageable and the homestay was beautiful. Beware that the homestay is a 30 minute drive from Chiang Mai and it is very difficult to get a Grab or a Bolt. I initially wanted to stay 4 weeks but only stayed 2 because it can get pretty boring during the day because there isn't much to do around there.

The teaching was all online. You work from 3pm onwards. Meeting other volunteers was the highlight. We got amazing food every day. The work wasn't hard, if you enjoy teaching, you will enjoy your stay here.

I had a great experience at the school. The hours were just as described, you work from about 3pm until 9, but with breaks in between depending on your schedule, sometimes starting and ending later but never more than 6 classes. The accommodation is fine and has great air conditioning. The food is really delicious, although the breakfast is just cereal and warm milk so I would recommend buying from the 7/11 (15 min away). Would recommend staying here! The only thing I would note is that it is about 40 minutes outside of Chiang Mai so is a bit of a mission to get to the city but that's ok

I've had a great time here. The hours are fair and you get everything you need to do the online teaching. You get to eat good homemade food every day, and 7/11 is close so snacks is never far away. The volunteers I stayed with became like a family, and I'll miss them all. I really recommend this experience, this is a place you'll want to come back to one more time.

This was my third Worldpackers experience and I could say that this was one of the best. Teaching English online to all ages was so much fun and enjoyable to do. Teaching usually starts past 5PM Mon-Fri. You will be learning as well about your students' culture and customs. You will be taken care of during your stay - food (even on rest-days), air-conditioned room and clean toilets. Fai, Kong and the rest of the staff were all accommodating and helpful and always ensured that we are comfortable. I also love our Thai cooking class. Kudos to the hosts and to my co-volunteers. Highly recommended!

This is my second time at Ban Bon Doi and I enjoy this experience. It's a great blend of beautiful nature and great facilities. The food is good and it's enjoyable and rewarding to be able to help people learn a language! There are shops and convenience stores within walking distance and a beautiful outdoor bar right on the same property. Your days are free to explore the area, connect with other volunteers/ local people, etc :) Thank you Ban Bon Doi!!

This was my first experience with worldpackers and it was great. The work is not too difficult. You're tutoring English online for Thai people from all ages and all over Thailand. The main challenge is keeping the kids engaged during class. You're also teaching teens and adults so you can learn a lot about Thailand and Thai culture from talking with them. The location is about 30 minutes outside of Chiang Mai. It's very green and quiet, but there's a local market and supermarkets etc nearby. The hosts were lovely and the food was absolutely amazing! I would come back just for that.

I've had a very good experience here! The people who work here are very kind and caring and the place is so peaceful. While helping others with improving their English, what is a fulfilling experience, you're also improving your own English.

Such a beautiful place with beautiful people. I like how it's so local and quiet and surrounded with nature. Fai and her team has been super gracious and welcoming. Kong was in charged with the volunteers and made sure everything went smooth and was super helpful. Honestly, he's super amazing! The ladies also made sure we had some good home cooked meals which I've missed since travelling long term. Teaching online was also a nice and flexible set up plus the students were amazing! I can definitely recommend this place/experience. Thanks for everything!
