The Experience

We need a friendly and outgoing certified teacher to assist who will help us with our free yoga session. The right person will teach yoga to our guests on the scenic promenade (which is just a stones throw from the hostel) once or twice a week. On the other days, the volunteer will assist with our other daily activities such as: - Taking guests to a local market - Hiking mountains - A free cycle

If anyone is solo ,hesitant , scared to take a risk to come away to the beautiful Cape Town , the hostel (despite the name ) will offer you the most homely experience you could get ! . After my 2 months here I've never once felt lonely and felt so supported by the amazing team :) it has been the experience of a lifetime and I will never forget the people , memories and fun I've had here.

My first time at a hostel and my first volunteering experience completely revolutionized the way I travel, and for that, I owe a special thank you to the hostel. My volunteer experience was incredibly smooth—not a single day felt like work. What made my stay truly unforgettable were the people. Phil, Shaun, and literally every single crew member are the most welcoming and supportive individuals you could ever hope to meet. I shared so many laughs with them. I consider myself incredibly lucky to have had the opportunity to be part of the hostel family. Highly recommended! Cheers!

I found N@h extraordinary well organised and caring for their volunteers. The work you get to help them with is really chilled and was always fun, a nice effect of it is that you get in a lot of close contact with the guests. The room is only shared with one other volunteer but you will meet more, also from the other location of the second n@h in Cape Town. You get plenty of free time to discover the city and eat the freaking best food you ever had ;)))

This was my first volunteering experience and I absolutely enjoyed it!! The workshifts were fun, I met so many new people and simply had a very good time. I would really recommend staying here as a volunteer. The location of the hostel in Greenpoint is close to the promenade and the Waterfront, which was perfect for me. There are also many restaurants and supermarkets in the street, so you have everything you need near by :)

I honestly don't know how to put my experience here into only 600 characters. It's funny because I've never felt so "at home" like I did at N@H. The staff is incredible and welcoming, they always made sure we were fine and enjoying the city, including me in tours and activities so I could experience more of CPT. Working at the bar was easygoing, I really liked the staff there and it was also a great chance to improve my English and meet amazing, funny, diverse people from around the world. I've learned a lot and grown personally. I'll always carry this place in my heart ❤️ Thank you all!
