A very interesting stay and a great way to get in touch with nature. Went om the free safari and saw a the camping. Got 3 sri lankan meals a day. Had my own tent with shower, toilet and double bed. Its very isolated, cant really go anywhere and in the beginning i was the only volunteer but i was prepared for that so it was fine and i really loved my stay here

My stay here was a unique experience, as I was able to take part in two the camping! I loved the location right in the heart of the safari, and the way the camp was built to ensure that the flora and fauna remained respected and a priority. Tasks are simple and you quickly feel useful. I was very well received by Noel and the rest of the staff, even if communication is more complicated because of the language barrier, so don't be shy and don't hesitate to be proactive! Finally, be prepared to stay and sleep in a tent in a very wild environment!

Bala and the team made me feel very comfortable during my time with them. I felt a part of the team and always felt looked after by them. The tasks were easy to understand and very well organised. The accommodation provided was perfect and private so it felt like I could have my own down time after shifts. Would definitely recommend.

I had a great time and really enjoyed being this close to nature (as you are really next to the national park fence). You get 3 sri lankan meals a day, which were very good! The tasks were mainly deep cleaning the tents and helping out with small things or whatever you wanted to do. I went on 2 the camping and it was amazing, i learned so much. the staff is very friendly and everyone made me feel welcome. i stayed at the safari camp for one week & for me that was enough. a really nice and unique experience!
