Had a lovely time there, the dogs are amazing, the staff had been always nice and willing to help, and the working hours are not hard at all. you're going to fall in love with the dogs, i would recommend to everyone an experience like this one

Great experience with a brilliant team behind the scenes. Very well organised and very reasonable hours. Accommodation is good with free water and laundry for all volunteers. All animals are very well looked after and cared for. I would highly recommend this experience to any the shelter lovers !!

Had a lovely time here, loved all the dogs and cats i got to know and met some great people. the tasks were simple and straight forward and the staff were very nice as well. I would definitely like to come back in the future, i really recommend volunteering here, especially if it's your first volunteer experience :)

Best place on earth! This was my third time at Ara and this place has become my second home in such a short time and I miss it incredibly much. I met so many great people and animals and would come back anytime! Everyone who likes animals is in good hands here and the work doesn't feel like work because it's so nice to see the animals opening up. I really hope that I can come back. It feels like you can really make a difference here :)

This place is an amazing place to volunteer at and I would definitely recommend! I've been here twice now and already wanting to visit a third. It's a sociable place where you meet so many travellers from across the world and create so many friendships :) The staff are so friendly and welcoming and the dogs are amazing! The work sometimes doesn't feel like work because it is so enjoyable being surrounded by dogs all day:) I will miss this place and the dogs so much! Thank you for having me ARA 🧡

I loved volunteering at ARA. The staff and other volunteers were really nice. The work was not hard and was enjoyable. The accommodations were amazing , clean, and had everything you needed. I loved that you could spend so much time with the animals, and that you were allowed to take them to the beach with you. I absolutely recommend volunteering here. I wish I could have stayed longer.

ARA is a really wonderful place and I had a wonderful time. My stay was enriching in so many aspects, such as taking care of the dogs and cats, giving them a nicer place to live, receiving and spending love from the animals, spending time with them playing, cuddling and walking, learning how to behave and teach them (improving adoption chances), getting to know and live and work together with wonderful people of all ages and nationalities, and so on. I felt welcomed and respected by the amazing people working there, I had never concerns to ask questions (and I had a lot). I hope to return
