I had an amazing time at ARA, the shelter is very professional and cares so much about the dogs 🐶The staff people are really nice and I also met some very cool people who volunteered there :) I'm already thrilled to come back one day!

The the shelter is such a wonderful place and they take really good care of the animals! I have spent four weeks at ARA and the time could not have been better! It was my first experience at an the shelter but the team and the other volunteers made sure that I felt welcome. The shelter is very well organized and the working hours are super fair, you will likely want to spent more time with the furry friends even after work. Happy so see so much love and glad that I could be a part of it for a short time. Keep up the good work! Lots of love Laura

I have stayed at ARA 4 times already and each stay has been so amazing. The shelter grounds are very nice and there are lots of places for volunteers to hang out. The staff is super friendly and you will fall in love with all the dogs and cats. The work is very easy to do and I especially enjoyed all the walks and socializing of the dogs and cats. I would a hundred percent recommend ARA to anyone who is looking to work with animals and wants to meet other amazing volunteers with the same mindset.

ARA is a perfectly organized shelter, surrounded by gorgeous landscapes. The facilities were spacious and comfortable and the staff was always helpful with any questions/issues etc. I absolutely loved connecting with the staff members as well as with the other international volunteers. But most of all I enjoyed the endless time and opportunities we had with the shelter dogs and cats, with which I absolutely fell in love with while going on walks and small trips to the beach or even just cuddling with them. Thank you for the unforgettable experience, I can't wait to be back soon.
