My stay at ARA was an experience that I would recommend to anyone. The relationship with other volunteers and staff is very pleasant. For me, it's the best the shelter I've ever met. The work they do is really incredible. You really get attached to each the shelter so much so you want to adopt one. I hope to comeback one day.

Our first experience couldn't have been more perfect. It was a dream come true to be part of this project. The staff are wonderful people who do everything they can to provide the best experience for you. The work is not difficult or complicated at all. The only bad part was having to say goodbye because you want to stay there forever. Thank you to the entire ARA team for giving us the opportunity to volunteer for the first time and for making it the best experience possible. You are marvellous and we hope to return soon. I've had an amazing 2 weeks at ARA! For me it was a fulfilling journey, where I could take my mind of everyday life. The people and animals made it so special. All the animals are very well taken care of, you can clearly see how everyone deeply cares for them. Maybe someday I'd love to come back :)

I had a beautiful experience at ARA! It is such a happy place! I met a lot of wonderful people here and working was always fun. With the animals you can spend as much time as you want to socialize them. Also the team was always very nice, helpful and lovely. Everyone here cares about the welfare of the animals. I will definitely come back someday.💛

ARA was a great time for me. I was here for 4 weeks, but it felt like one. The staff and the other volunteers are very nice and helpful. The working hours are as described or even less, so that you can spend the rest of the shift socializing with the dogs. You also spend a lot of time with the dogs outside of shifts. These are all unique, you start to like them all and really enjoy the time. I can definitely recommend ARA! Hopefully I'll come back at some point :)

This place is simply wonderful! I can highly recommend working there: Good working hours, really friendly stuff-members and volunteers, a beautiful surrounding and the most important: Wonderful dogs! The time in the shelter has enriched my life. I have been there twice and I am already planning when I will come back: Once you've been here, you always want to come back! This place is a place for dogs to heal, but also for people :)
