The eco village was a really cute small town. It was a bit hard to actually get to the town me and another volunteer were arriving together so we had to call a taxi from where the bus dropped us off. Just like most of the other reviews, Francesco takes a little bit of warming up before he's cracking jokes and stuff with you so just wait a few days. The work can definitely be hard some days when you're moving furniture up and down for three hours but you get the rest of the day to yourself. All in all it was a really rewarding experience. Would definitely recommend.

The eco village is a beautiful place and I was lucky enough to be there during festa della bandiera which was amazing. Personally I had a bit of an odd experience especially at the start. I wasn't all to welcomed, I arrived late on day one but it was due to my bus braking down, I could have communicated this better but once I had arrived he had no interest in hearing me out even though I had proof of the brake down. That evening the messages he sends me were “I don't think this is the right place for you” and “one mistake and you're out” He eventually did warm up to me but it took quite some time.

As I had sensed from the first moment, my house was not the right place for Xavier. I would have done better to listen to my intuition and not accept him in my house. The jobs I assigned him were done badly trying to waste as much time as possible

My feelings are mixed, stayed for 10 days, up until the 9th I enjoyed it. The town is lovely, the work was ok, and Francesco was nice at first. On the 9th day, out of nowhere, he told me he was leaving me a bad review. I was confused, he didn't seem upset with me before this. Work with him was uncomfortable after. I asked if he would explain what happened, he responded aggressively about dissatisfaction with work, he was then rude and demeaning, so I left after completing my hours. Supportive feedback earlier would've been nice, instead of irrational psychological games. Q's welcomed.

This person got the answers she needed but simply ignored them like a lying sixteen year old teenager
