Monika is the best host! She's very welcoming, generous, and kind. Fun too! She's a wonderful cook and provides you with everything you may need. You will definitely not go hungry. I ate like a queen while I was there. The work is easy and flexible and I got to learn a lot about the farm farming. There's also a bunch of free time to relax, play cards, or go for a walk in the surrounding area. The farm is located in a beautiful place with nice views all around. Overall, great experience and highly recommend!

Time flies when you're in gorgeous Slovenia, being hosted by Monika and her lovely family. Work consisted mostly of weeding because the raspberries were not ready to be harvested yet during my time there. Sometimes us volunteers would help out with other tasks but working hours were always perfectly respected. Monika is a superhost. She'll always be there to help you and she'd provide us with food and would also cook for us often. Overall I had an incredible time at the farm with Monika, her family, my fellow volunteers and all the beautiful animals that call the farm home. Najlepša hvala!

We had a good stay at Monicas farm! Monica was talkative and took good care of her volunteers, and the rest of her family were also very friendly. The rasberry picking was quite physical work and some mornings we started at 5.15, so as a volunteer you have to be up for that. Besides this, the farm was located in beautiful nature, and it was quite close to the city of Celje, from where you can take trains to visit other cities :)

My experience at Monika's farm was truly exceptional. Monika and her family are absolutely kind, hard-working, and fun people. They created a very positive social atmosphere in which I felt extremely comfortable. I even extended my stay. The accommodation was flawless. The farm tasks, though not overly demanding, demanded a keen eye. The surrounding area has lots of nature, and there are usually many options to explore nearby areas or cities. I had a time full of genuine laughter, cultural exchange, and pleasure to work outdoors.

Meet Monika and her family there was a wonderfull experience. They are very nice and lovely, she is always tacking care about everything and she wants that everyone feels good. They are going to make you feel part of their family :) The work is not heavy, they only ask you compromise and stay focus in your tasks. You can go where you want in your free time, they are always open to taking you whereever or even go with you. Without doubt they are meravellous people and It's a perfect place where going as a volunteer. I hope will return and enjoy more time with them!

The best volunteering experience we have had. The place for the volunteers is very good, the work is simple, the times are respected and you can always comment on any changes. Monika, Jure and Filip have made sure that we feel at home and very loved. Thank you all very much and we hope to return to the farm at some point!

My experience was very good! I completely recommend this volunteering. Monika and her family were very kind and concerned. We spent quality time at the farm and they also took us around the city. Everything really beautiful. We had a great time and ate delicious lunches hehe. Pick Berries! you won't regret it :) 🩷

I felt like home there. This is perfect place to spend time in very peaceful calm environment and see A LOT of cute animals :)) Working on farm was a pleasure for me. Living on a countryside, picking raspberries every morning in wellies, feeding chickens, sitting on the grass watching cows… all of this made me feel like a real farmer haha:)) and I really enjoyed every moment of this life style. Our host took care of us, and that we had great time there. We had the opportunity to swim in lakes, watch sunrises and sunsets from the hill, go on bike tours or to visit nearby towns.

It was such a great experniece! Slovenia is a great destination if you want to connect with nature and relax from loud city center. We (me and Alicja) had opportunity to hike, swim in the river, see unforgettable sunrises and sunsets, or pet so many animals! Monika and Jure are lovely hosts. We are greateful for their hospitality and making us feel like the part of the family (for example dinners in their garden!) I didnt expect that the hosts would want to spend so much time with us🥺! We had so many different conversations that will stay in my heart forever. Highly reccomend coming here❤️
