The Experience

We are in the process of restoring a large building made up of several parts. We carry out all the construction by ourselves and would be very happy to welcome you to participate in this restoration. The tasks are very varied and can include structural tasks, various small activities, gardening (ornamental and vegetable gardens) and others. Our Instagram: @leplushautmas

Clementine and manuel are very nice and have jumped through hoops to make sure my time there was amazing. They are very fair with the work and make it enjoyable. It is a beautiful place and is especially great if you are wishing to learn a new language as they spend a lot of time with you and are willing to help with any problems you have.

Clémentine and Manuel are amazing people above all. They are thoughtful as to your needs and wants and make sure you feel completely comfortable. They are interesting and have good conversations and genuinely care. The work is interesting and hands on and you can be a good contribution to the team. There are a number of cool things to do around and if you are without a car (which i was) they make sure to offer to drive you interesting places. Truly a home away from home. This was an incredible experience i will always remember. Thankyou for everything. Merci et à la prochaine fois🫶

This was my first world packer experience and if all world packers is like this then it won't be my last. Clémentine and Manuel were fantastic hosts and that's an understatement. The project is very interesting with tasks involving gardening and construction which are very satisfying to complete and admire your work. The work itself wasn't easy as you are doing manual labour but it is only 5 hours of work a day and you get a lot in return. The food which we got was delicious and there was always cheese and dessert after. This experience was truly amazing and I will be back very soon!!!

Clémentine and Manuel were excellent hosts. They are lovely people and care greatly about what they do. I really enjoyed the work - we were assisting with repairing an old stone wall, making cement, helping with building a small pool and plastering a wall. The food was very good too, I'm not normally vegetarian but I loved what we ate when we were there. There was a small bar down the road from the house, which was nice to sit in during the afternoons we had off. I will definitely be back to help out again and visit.

This was my first Worldpacker experience and it was absolutely amazing! I didn't want to leave when my time was done and would plan on coming back to see how Clémentine and Manuel's project evolves. They were so welcoming as hosts and provided amazing food and conversations. It's definitely living in a construction zone which is part of the experience. I overlapped with other Worldpackers at the same time so it was great to also meet other people from around the world. You can tell the amount of thought that has gone into this project and the pride in doing the work themselves.
