What an incredible experience. I absolutely loved the time I spent with Clémentine and Manuel at the home. Working hours were respected, the tasks were easy to complete, and the work always varied. I learned a lot about using a cement mixer. It was rewarding to see the progress that was made in just three weeks time. I was thankful to be able to practice French. Free days were spent wandering around flea markets and exploring public forests. I would happily return.

Absolutely wonderful hosts and people, Clementine and Manuel made me feel very comfortable and welcome as soon as I arrived. The work was super interesting and varied, we mixed cement, put down floors, filled and plastered walls, gardened, and so on. We had breakfast lunch and dinner together, and also would join Clementine and Manuel going to the local farmers market, flea market, and a couple of times to Uzes. Loved loved loved my time there and would definitely volunteer again if possible, hopefully next time my French will be better. 😁

I stayed with Clémentine and Manuel for three weeks. They are kind and generous people and I really enjoyed the time we shared. While there I worked on restoring parts of the house or in the garden. Clémentine and Manuel put so much time and care into each project, making everything look finished and beautiful. At times it felt like an honour to watch them work, and I'm glad to have been able to contribute. I learned a great deal from both of them. In my spare time I enjoyed going on hikes with other volunteers, as well as exploring nearby places like UzÚs, Nßmes and Pont Du Gard.

I didn't have a good experience with this host, I was berated for eating a second piece of fruit for breakfast and told not to ask the other volunteer questions about what to eat. (I would have happily bought my own food). I had safety concerns because I am prior military and am “by the book” when it comes to safety. The space was dusty and could be dangerous for the lungs but we were not given ppe until I requested we mask up and all they had were surgical masks, aspestos?I was approved for safestay and I'm grateful. This was my first worldpackers experience and I regret choosing this host.

Clémentine & Manuel replied

1st bad experience in 3 years.
She doesn’t respect the home rules. Thinks she is in a hotel. Helps herself with food that’s not included in the 3 meals. Doesn’t help for preparing meals but waits on the sofa until it’s ready. Never a please or thank you.
Without mentioning the 4 hours she made us waste by waiting for her in the car because she didn’t follow the instructions we gave her about coming to the meeting point.
A pure disaster.
Not the Worldpackers spirit.
Of course no aspestos here 😊

This was my first worldpackers experience, and it could not have been more perfect! Clementine and Manuel are the best hosts anyone can have, I felt like I had known them for a long time. I learned a lot, from them, not only about renovating/gardening/etc. but also about life. All the area of the house and itd surroundings has a very calm and serene vibe and everything is really beautiful. I had an amazing experience of 1 month and for sure will be returning!

Belvezet, and the all area around, is absolutely special. A true harmony between nature and art. Clémentine and Manuel made me feel like home, treated me like family and I really enjoyed my time. The food is amazing, with a strong French culture, and the work is nice and super interesting. I wanna go back to this part of the world for sure. Merci beaucoup!

I had an absolutely incredible time getting to know Clémentine and Manuel over the course of 3 weeks. From the moment I arrived they welcomed me with open arms, and truly treated me as if a member of their family. They both really care about your stay and your needs and want to make sure you are comfortable. During my time off we spent nice time together visiting nearby markets, and many interesting sightseeing locations. The work was always interesting and I found contributing to such an interesting project to be very fulfilling. Truly a 10/10 experience for me!

Clementine and manuel are very nice and have jumped through hoops to make sure my time there was amazing. They are very fair with the work and make it enjoyable. It is a beautiful place and is especially great if you are wishing to learn a new language as they spend a lot of time with you and are willing to help with any problems you have.

ClĂ©mentine and Manuel are amazing people above all. They are thoughtful as to your needs and wants and make sure you feel completely comfortable. They are interesting and have good conversations and genuinely care. The work is interesting and hands on and you can be a good contribution to the team. There are a number of cool things to do around and if you are without a car (which i was) they make sure to offer to drive you interesting places. Truly a home away from home. This was an incredible experience i will always remember. Thankyou for everything. Merci et Ă  la prochaine foisđŸ«¶

This was my first world packer experience and if all world packers is like this then it won't be my last. Clémentine and Manuel were fantastic hosts and that's an understatement. The project is very interesting with tasks involving gardening and construction which are very satisfying to complete and admire your work. The work itself wasn't easy as you are doing manual labour but it is only 5 hours of work a day and you get a lot in return. The food which we got was delicious and there was always cheese and dessert after. This experience was truly amazing and I will be back very soon!!!
