Clémentine and Manuel were excellent hosts. They are lovely people and care greatly about what they do. I really enjoyed the work - we were assisting with repairing an old stone wall, making cement, helping with building a small pool and plastering a wall. The food was very good too, I'm not normally vegetarian but I loved what we ate when we were there. There was a small bar down the road from the house, which was nice to sit in during the afternoons we had off. I will definitely be back to help out again and visit.

This was my first Worldpacker experience and it was absolutely amazing! I didn't want to leave when my time was done and would plan on coming back to see how Clémentine and Manuel's project evolves. They were so welcoming as hosts and provided amazing food and conversations. It's definitely living in a construction zone which is part of the experience. I overlapped with other Worldpackers at the same time so it was great to also meet other people from around the world. You can tell the amount of thought that has gone into this project and the pride in doing the work themselves.

Clementine and Manuel were such nice people and hosts. As a first time doing Worldpackers it was a great experience. The work was straight forward, we had really nice meals! Breakfast and dinner were my favourite. All of the meals were followed by cheese and bread and desert so we're very well fed! Clementine and Manuel were so nice that they took us out on trips to a lovely river to swim and flea markets in the local area! Definitely would recommend if you want to chill out from travelling, reconnect with yourself and learn about some of the local culture in Occitanie region!

Our stay with Clementine and Manuel was a French countryside dream!! They were so, so lovely and accommodating. They provide all of the meals which is amazing, dinners are always so beautiful as you prepare them outside under a peachy sky. Clementine and Manuel, now known as our French parents are extremely generous, taking us to the river, flea markets and a little concert at the towns 6th century church. The work itself can be challenging however the hours are very respected and watching movies by the star light was a massive highlight. Thank you to our French parents we will be back :)

Clementine & Manuel, the most artistic couple in Occitanie. Together they have been reforming a 19th century house for years, and have welcomed volunteers, like me, to help with this activity. Not only is the experience of helping in this project rewarding, but they both took me for trips in the region, taught me a little French and French culture, not to mention the movies we watched by the light of the stars and the moon. I definitely highly recommend everyone to volunteer to work on the small farm in Uzės.

For our first Worldpackers, Clementine and Manuel exceeded our expectations. They welcomed us with open arms and made us feel right at home during our stay. They showed us around Uzes and took us on a trip to the Pont du Gard and the flea market. They let us use their bikes and also gave great advice for what to do on our afternoons off. We were fed incredibly well (the mrytilles jam was amazing). We had a great French breakfast every morning and then a fresh salad from their garden for lunch along with cheese and dessert after every meal. Clementine and Manuel welcomed us into their family.

It was an amazing experience and I'm very thankful to Clementine and Manuel! They were very sweet and wanted to make sure you had a nice time. We did lots of fun activities like going to flea markets, hiking and more. It is really beautiful where they live and all the neighbours are so kind and so interesting! Maybe the place is a little isolated and a little far from the near villages if you don't have a car. The work is tough but doable! Thank you Manuel and Clementine I will never forget this experience :) Bisous!

This was my first worldpackers experience and it was great. I had a lovely two weeks with Clementine and Manuel . I loved going to the flea markets and pretty spots they took us to. The tasks are easy and it's great working outside. Clementine and Manuel are lovely and try to make your experience fun. The location is a bit isolating if you don't have a car, but overall was lovely and slept so good. Thanks again 💛

I couldn't choose for a better place in my first experience. Clémentine & Manuel are very warm and tried to make me feel like one of them everyday. I had a lot of problems when I arrived with the transport company (even lost my bag) and they were by my side all the time helping me☺️ Both are great artists and you can notice how kind and unique they are. They have an amazing project and there's a lot of things to do but they're very easy. Just keep in mind that some of the tasks are outside so it's good to have some physical strength. Really hoping to come back very soon. Thanks again💕
