The 4 weeks on the farm were an incredibly positive experience. I couldn't have imagined my first volunteering experience any better. Hege and her family were an incredibly nice and accommodating family. I learned so many new skills and had fun with every task. But not only the farm with the very cute alpacas but also the surroundings are beautiful. For people who like to be away from the city, go hiking and see forests and the sea. This is the perfect place. I will never forget the time with the beautiful nature and the fun alpaca hikes. :)🦙

It was a wonderful stay at the farm. It was my first time volunteering and it was better than I could have ever imagined. Hege is a wonderful and caring person that always has an open ear. She is very trustful and gave us a lot of responsibility. While living in an own house with the other volunteers we grew together as a group. The work with the alpacas was wonderful and they are all so cute. All the nature around was a great opportunity to connect with nature and learn a lot about the animals. All in all it was an extraordinary experience, I recommend to anybody.

I had an amazing time at the farm! It was my first volunteering experience and it was even better then I could have imagined. Hege is a great host, who gave as a lot of responsibility and always had an open ear for us. The volunteer accomodation is also really nice . The nature around is stunning and I especially enjoyed the boat trips on which John, Heges father, took us. The work is quite fun most of the time, even though it obviously can be physical. We also did a variety of different tasks. And lastly, the alpacas that are just the cutest! I am so thankful for everything and recommend it!

I had an amazing time at the farm! It was my first volunteering and now that I'm done, I can confidently say that I chose the right place for it. Hege was a wonderful host, you could see that she really cares about the volunteers and their stay :). The working hours were very flexible, we mostly worked the demanded 5h in the mornings and had the afternoon to enjoy the beautiful landscape by hiking or kayaking. I also enjoyed the work, caring for the animals was really fun as well as gardening or preparing the farm for special events (like a wedding). I totally recommend this experience!!😊

I had an amazing time at the Farm! There is a wide range of tasks and the volunteers receive a high level of trust. As I have never worked with animals before, it was the perfect opportunity to learn about animal care. In addition to multiple hikes, the area can be explored by a rowing boat and a kayak. There is also a fishing rod if you want to catch your own food. I can recommend this experience to everyone who wants to get in touch with nature and animals. Thank you for the wonderful stay <3

It was my first volunteering ever and I couldn't have chosen a better place than Opplev the farm. Hege and her family were the most welcoming people you could ever ask for and I absolutely enjoyed my stay there. The surrounding area is so beautiful and invites you to da lot of different things there. Also the work on the farm is very flexible and you can choose from a lot of different tasks. I recommend this to everyone who loves nature and wants to disconnect for some time from the hectic and fast everyday life!

This was my first volunteering experience and it couldn't have been better! I stayed at Opplev the farm for 2 months and had the best time. Hege and her family were always so welcoming and supportive. The appreciation she has for volunteers is what made this experience so special. The work was always fun and diverse! I got to walk the alpacas, drive the tractor and excavator, build a deck and so much more. Also a big thank you to Hege's dad who took us on amazing trips on his boat and hikes to see the beautiful surroundings of the farm. I can't recommend this place enough, thank you Hege!!!

I was originally planning to spend one month here but loved it so much that I extended for another - and it's the best decision I could have made! The work is amazing, filled with fun tasks and of course the adorable Alpacas. Hege is one of the best hosts on here; she's honest, kind and really cares about her volunteers. She really respects you and values your work. Also huge thanks to John, her dad, who gave us the opportunity to go fishing and explore the surrounding islands! All in all this is such an amazing place to go and I would recommend it to everyone! I will miss you so much 🦙❤️

I definetely recommend this volunteering position! Hege and his husband are nice people. The tasks are reasonable and you can choose out of a bunch of it- whatever you feel best with. I started to work with wood, which I never did bever and I really like it. Working hours and free days are flexible to choose. The farm is located in the middle of beautiful nature. There are a lot of hiking options in the sourrounded area. Also Heges father took us with his boat for trips, which I absolutely enjoyed. We lived together with the other volunteers in a seperate house.

I absolutly recommend this place! The farm and its sourroundings are perfect for relaxing and being in the nature. Hege and Daniel are super nice persons who put a lot of trust in the volunteers. If you are interested, you can help to build a part of there new house - very interesting! My girlfriend and me had our nice own room and the "volunteer-house" has everything you'll need. Thank you Opplev the farm! :)
