I stayed a month at the farm and I had an amazing time. Hege is a wonderful host, flexible welcoming and kind-hearted. The volunteers have a good deal of trust and freedom. The work varies from animal care in the morning to building, general maintenance, outdoor tasks, gardening. The volunteers' house is spacious and comfortable and the atmosphere with the other volunteers was great. On your free time you can go hiking, kayaking, and sometimes walking with the alpacas. Special thanks to John who took us on boat and road trips around the area! I couldn't recommend it enough, thank you!

I had an absolutely amazing time at the farm! I stayed for 4 weeks and enjoyed every single day. The work with the Alpakas was fun and we also did a few trips to explore more of the area. Hege is a great host and made me feel home from the minute that I arrived. I can only recommend a stay at the farm and I will definitely be back myself! Thank you Hege, I will miss life at the farm a lot🦙🥰

So far it has been our best experience. We learned a lot about the beautiful alpacas, Norway, its culture, history and nature. We fulfilled our dream of seeing the Northern Lights and enjoyed snow like never before in our lives. We were welcomed very well and provided with all the comforts, the volunteer house has everything you need to make the stay the best possible. Add to all this boat trips through the fjords, climbing mountains and more, it has been amazing. Thank you very much Hege, John and the whole family of the farm.

One of our best experiences. We enjoy every day, together with the alpacas and the other animals. Sometimes we walked with them, which was very fun and relaxing. We put into practice and improved our English. We were able to learn new cultures and languages ​​with the other volunteers. Tusi is a very cute kitten, I'm going to miss her a lot. I am very grateful to Hege, John and their entire family for everything they gave us. They are incredible people. We leave with a very happy heart to have had this experience and to have known a little of Norway with them. Thank you so much ❤️

We stayed at the farm for three weeks, and it was an incredible experience. Hege, Daniel, and their family were so welcoming. It was our first time volunteering through WorldPackers, and it couldn't have been better. The farm is beautiful, with Alpacas, rabbits, and chickens. Accommodation is spacious and comfortable. Tasks ranged from animal care to construction and gardening, and the atmosphere with other volunteers was amazing. Days off included hiking, boat trips, and exploring. Special thanks to John for his kindness, generosity, and wisdom. Highly recommend this magical place!

My first Worldpackers, with my partner Tristan, was extraordinary! Hege is a wonderful host, welcoming, flexible and very caring, as is her whole family. It was a great opportunity! The farm and the landscape are breathless! Tasks are variable, sometimes easy and sometimes are harder but Hege is very careful with volunteers. The best is take care of the alpacas and the others animals 🥰 and learn new skills🔩! During the free time you can explore all around going hiking or kayaking.. John also brought us to a boat trip through the fjords and to a couple of roadtrips (he's a very special person). Volunteers house is cozy and with all comforts and you have your own room! Thanks to Hege for the opportunity, she's a kindhearted and lovely person 💚

This was a wonderful experience. Hege the host is very kind and flexible. The tasks are diverse and teach you some new skills. The house for volunteers is big, well equipped and you get your own room. I recommend to come here if you're looking for nature and chill. You can hike a bit or run, use the bikes and kayaks... John even took us on a boat tour which was a great moment! Thanks again for everything 🙏

This place is amazing! First of all the nature here is stunning! The alpaca's, bunnies, guineapig and chickens are really nice! Hege is very warm en kindhearted and makes you feel right at home. The tasks vary from easy to difficult and I got to learn new building skills! Taking care of the animals feels more like fun than work. Furthermore I feel very lucky to have met great volenteers and spend time with them in the house and going on walks or kajaking. We also went on boat and roadtrips with John where we explored deserted islands. I also saw the northen lights! It was a magical experience
