If you wanna learn about Buddhism or living in community it is the right place. It was possible to take part at the events. Working hours was always respected and organised well. The people tend to be kind and lovely and always attentive to questions or for a nice conversation. The place is surrounded by nature and the building is very beautifully designed.

It was my first worldpackers experience, and definitely I chose the right place:) Everything was clear, the work was not very hard, I feel like I had learnt quite a lot about buddhism and connected with the people I met. The surrounding areas are beautiful and you can always take the bikes and go to Schwante or some other nearby towns. The buildings are very very clean and pretty, the dorms are enormous and very comfortable as well and the food is great, would absolutely recommend!

My time in the Center was great! The environment is so pleasent and calm, the food is splendid. I could improve my English and practice the Center. I have developed new skills through the tasks. People are lovely. I'm grateful for everything! Thankyou the Center team! I hope come back someday for sure.

Loved my stay here and met a lot of people. The grounds were a beautiful place to relax. The work is fairly long though. 9:30-5:30 5 days a week with generous tea breaks. It's basically a full time job though so you can really only relax on the weekends. Still, the food is great and the people incredibly nice so definitely come!

Really, I was completely happy during the period I spent with a strong family work team, working with love and giving, everything organized with extreme precision, I learned a lot. On the other hand, providing opportunities to participate in the Center activities. I advise colleagues to go ahead.

Not only, Tharpa Land's system is an enjoyable traveler's experience, it is a place where peace of mind, freedom and love, can be found. I will be forever grateful with the beings at Tharpa Land; their mission is to project and search, to hope, for hapiness and stripping down suffering from existence.

The work sometimes is very easy, sometimes heavier, but always with good tea breaks and with the possibility of talking and saying if you want to change the task. Also a good opportunity for learn more about Buddhism!Thank you so much Joe, Namnyi, Roma and all the volunteers and residents! I carry you all in my heart!🥰🙏

I had a great experience at the Center and learned more about different cultures and beliefs. The other travelers all represented different countries and were very friendly and fun to hang around. The residents at the the Center were very welcoming to any questions and were very social. The work will keep you busy during the week, but there are several tea and snack breaks throughout the day. I wish I could have stayed longer, and I highly recommend.

Being at tarpaland was a beautiful experience. Everyone you interact with is so respectful and warm. Talking to the monks and nuns was always such a peaceful experience. They were super willing to answer any and all questions I had even when I felt like it was a bit of a dumb question. There's so much laughter shared there as well. Oh! And the food is great! The property is beautiful too! I learned so much about Buddhism during my stay and feel I am walking out of there better than I arrived. I'm so grateful to be able to implement some of the Center techniques to my daily life back home.

I had an incredible time at the Center. Despite not being a vegetarian myself, I thought the food was amazing. You will work, whether it's inside or outside, but with the breaks and the people you're with, it will go by quickly and easily. The residents at the center are all wonderful people. You'll share laughs and if you're curious about how Buddhist's think about the mind, many deep conversations. There are opportunities to go to Berlin or the surrounding towns if you wish. Nothing beats taking a bike ride in the countryside while the sun sets. Thanks to all at the center.
