I am really happy with my stay at the school. Milena and ruth are both always willing to help you, teach you or answer some of your questions!! The tasks were simple enough for you to feel confident but difficult enough for you to learn and improve :) Antwerpen may not be one of your preferred tourist destinations, but it's actually a great and beautiful city. If you are thinking about coming, definitely doooo

Work at simones kitchen was a really great experience! It was our first volunteer and it was unforgetable. The staff is really receptive and the place is just beautiful, very well located and its super easy to travel from there to amazing places like Paris, Amsterdam and a lot of other beautifull cities. We loved every moment of it.

I could learn a lot in this volunteering, from service to making vegan recipes or imporve my English level. I enjoyed that there were more volunteers in the same time who could help me adapt to this routine sharing their cultures alongside. Ruth, Milena and Alistair always made me feel what I had to do in the shift and made me feel at home. However you need to know shifts can be shorten or extended depends on the amount of customers or tasks to do, hence there will be times you will finish sooner and others later.

I had a great time at Simones kitchen. I would especially recommend it for people that are interested in vegan cuisine. It's the perfect place for all vegan/vegetarian people. The whole staff team is very kind and will always help you if you have any problems. It was an great experience thanks for everything ✌️

I had a good and nice experience, starting with the owner and the kitchen managers, also with the work team. A comfortable and cozy place, and a beautiful city. The schedule is good and relaxed at times and at other times with a lot of work. Delicious the school. Some details in the restaurant and service, but that were suggested to the owner and listened to in a good way, since living these experiences we will always find details that we do not like, but I prefer to see the opportunity to contribute and add so that the next volunteers that arrive feel better.

Very fine experience, The host is used to have a phone call with you many months before starting the experience and when you arrive you start soon to work without waiting some days. The staff is international and this gives you the chance to practice your english .

Not much to say that other reviewers haven't already! the school is a very comfortable and fun place to volunteer. Ruth, Milena, and Alistair are very welcoming and kind hosts. Apart from the good environment, I also learned quite a bit about cooking for large groups and, in particular, serving. Work was well balanced in that volunteers got a mix of busy and relaxed shifts. The other volunteers were really cool and great to work with, and I loved getting to know people from different parts of the world. For my first time volunteering abroad, this was a great experience.
