Had a really nice time volunteering at the hostel. All the volunteers were super nice, the managers were super kind and the tasks were explained well. The daily work also allowed for plenty of time to explore the surrounding hikes and the day off allows for day trips to wherever. The facilities and vibe of the hostel were also well above standard and had a really cozy vibe to it. Can recommend the hostel for all future volunteers!

From the start when we arrived at the hostel I felt very welcome. Swinny and Derik are very easy to get along with and are good at leading the team. They were always very patient, even with me learning English. The volunteer friends we made here were also always very friendly and we had a lot of fun. The tasks are simple, the working hours are respected and the hostel has plenty of options for walking and relaxing. I will miss this place.

My time in the hostel was fantastic. It was another family I gained in Scotland. I didn't feel like I was working because for me it was like looking after my own home. Derik and Swinny are very kind and lively and the fact that they're fantastic really helped to make the experience incredible. The volunteers were also wonderful and friendly. We had a lot of fun walking, talking and eating together. I will miss this place very much.

My volunteering experience at the hostel was absolutely amazing! I can't express enough how much I loved the place, the people, and the incredible friends I made. The work was easy and flexible, allowing me to explore stunning trails like Ben Vrackie and Killiecrankie in my free days while also still having plenty of time to explore the charming town of the hostel and its surroundings. The team definitely provided a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I would 100% recommend this experience to anyone!

This was my first Worldpackers experience and I was blown away! I felt so welcomed by the other volunteers as well as Swinny and Ger from the moment I arrived. Everyone was so amazing. I mainly worked reception, it was always in 4 hour shifts and left plenty of time to explore the hostel and the surrounding nature. It was an incredible experience and I hope to return to the hostel in the future!

My whole stay in the hostel has been incredible. The atmosphere of the hostel, the workers and the rest of the volunteers create a perfect atmosphere. It was the best volunteering experience I've ever had! Jo and Richard are very sweet, they really care about you. They welcomed me with a hug and our routine was always with smiles. the work is very peaceful and the Hostel is wonderful, it has incredible energy! I made a lot of friends and had so much fun. An experience incredible! I confess that in the beginning was a challenge, because it was my first time in small city. I managed to practice English, besides I connected with the nature and I had time for relax. Jo and Richard are wonderful people, I don't have words for describe.
