A short but amazing stay. I can only recommend this place. I had so much fun with my fellow co-hosts, the guests and people from the city. The dorms are nice, the tasks are easy to learn, the breakfast is good, and the staff is amazing

My four-week work exchange at the hostel was truly incredible – the best experience I've had! The staff was absolutely amazing, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. With lots of free time, I explored the vibrant city, immersing myself in its colorful streets and rich culture. the hostel is a place where you meet fantastic people and have a blast. I will definitely come back!

I love love LOVED my time at the hostel. It was my first worldpackers experience and it was exactly what I was hoping for and more. I made some amazing friendships and there is an incredible community with the staff and travelers. It is a very social vibe, as it's right next to the best nightlife in San Juan and there are always guests from all over looking to do stuff. You will have a lot to do during your shifts, but since there are only 3 a week it is very manageable to do remote part time work at the same time, or have a lot of time to go on fun sidequests.

I spent six weeks working as a co-host at the hostel and absolutely loved it! The work is fine, mostly cleaning and working with guests, and totally worth the accommodations. Everyone here is lovely and you'll be treated like family. The hostel is close to so many beaches and businesses, it's an extremely walkable area. Definitely recommend if you're looking to immerse yourself in Puerto Rican culture!!

Wow. What an amazing time! I was able to make so many friends at the hostel! I learned/worked on my spanish everyday! The night life was amazing every single night and there was always something fun happening. I talked to people from all over the world and had a great experience. I stayed for 5 weeks which was the perfect amount of time for me! Thank you the hostel!

The hostel was my first Worldpackers experience and my introduction to hostels. It was beyond perfect! Meeting people from all over the world inspired me to travel more. Everyone agreed it's the best hostel they've stayed in. Highly recommended for a memorable start to solo travel.

The hostel was my first volunteering experience with WP and I loved it! I would definitely recommend it to anyone! The staff & managers are amazing, we all become like a small family, they are always here to help you if you need anything. This hostel is very social, there is always something to do around. the hostel is the best place to go if you wanna meet great people and be part of an amazing team. The work is easy, mostly cleaning and check ins/ check outs, you get a lot of free time. Puerto Rico is an amazing island, I had the best time at the hostel and I will definitely come back!

The hostel has been a home since day one! It's a very social place where you can meet people from everywhere, the staff is very welcoming and very friendly they are your the hostel Familia!! The location is perfect very close from la Placita and the bars, and also from old San Juan. There are a lot of activities to do, you can either join a group from the hostel or join tours. The workload is fair, there is always something to do during your shift or projects to work on! Overall, I had SOO much fun and I would definitely recommend to stay longer than a month!!

I genuinely can't recommend this experience enough! The other staff / managers are amazing people and it really did feel like a small family. The hostel is very sociable and you'll meet plenty of people. There's a great vibe between guests and staff, whether it's organising trips around the island or nights out. Puerto Rico is an incredible place with a vibrant culture and welcoming locals. The work at the hostel is very fair and the benefits offered to staff are generous. As long as you're ok with shared living spaces, accommodations are clean and comfortable. I will miss it here a lot!

Staying at the hostel was a great summer experience. San Juan has a lot to offer. I met 200+ travelers from all over the world, practiced speaking Spanish with locals, and spent a lot of time at the beach. Living in a shared space for an extended period of time was an adjustment for me, but the living arrangements are comfortable. You have to save money ahead of time to make this type of exchange work, but it's way more manageable having a free place to stay. Charles was kind and accommodating throughout my stay.
