My experience at the project was perfect. Everyone was kind and patient in explaining the tasks and helping us. The meals have vegetarian and vegan options with a different menu every day, and they were great. I was able to meet people from all over the world and practice my English. They offer free the project every day and I loved being able to practice. I highly recommend it!

My experience in the project was incredible! I met amazing people from all over the world who I'll miss a lot. Four weeks of work, weekend adventures, beach bonfires, and karaoke nights in town flew by so quickly. A big thanks to all my bosses and a special one to Mel, for her kindness and for looking after the well-being of all volunteers who worked together.

The project has been an amazing place to stay, It's a brilliant place to relax and learn about buddhism and spirituality, while being situated in the most beautiful grounds ( with a 5min walk to the beach). Paul, the monks and nuns and all the residents are welcoming and cook some mean food! and will always smile. Definitely recommended! there's so many different jobs e.g. Art studio, Graphic Design, Painting, Gardening etc so you will never get bored.

Still processing what I lived in this incredible place. I'm going home a better person and with lessons for life and of course with a more peaceful mind. The Center is very organized and the people there are very welcoming. I was really very happy. Paul is the volunteer coordinator and he is an incredible person, always ready to help you and make you feel welcomed. I met two residents who were very special. Mel and Rodrigo ❤️ Just say thank you for the experience!

It was my second time with a 3-month gap, a different group, different position (this time in the kitchen) and I must say that I could come back again. I wanna say thank you to Odro for all the kindness and respect during the shifts. If you're traveling and thinking about going back, don't you think twice.

KMC was a life changing experience due to the fact that meeting other volunteers is really easy and you have the opportunity to create great friendships, the place feels like a calm retreat from everything and the staff are always so kind and welcoming. I hope to visit the project again and work alongside the team once again. As for the food and accommodation they were very good, I never felt uncomfortable or hungry.

I had the most beautiful stay at MKMC and would recommend it to anyone who wants to experience home away from home. i worked in the cafe (so many cute dogs) and the team was lovely, however the days off arent on the weekends and can be randomly spread out through out the week - just something to keep in mind if you're planning any day trips. ive made the best memories and met the best people, thankyou!!

My experience at the project was incredible. The place is beautiful and peaceful and I could hear the sound of the leaves dancing when the wind was blowing. The temple is a place that stands out in my mind, with free meditations for volunteers. How wonderful it was to have this experience! The whole team in the Art Studio was fantastic and work in there was like a summer course. A special mention to Lupe, who patiently taught me.

It was my first volunteer experience and I couldn't ask for better. Nice environment, everyone is very kind and always helpful. The perfect place to immerse yourself in nature, meditate and make connections with people from all over the world.
