This was my first volunteer experience with worldpackers and I would definitely recommend it to everyone! Mauro, the staff and the other volunteers were very welcoming and easy-going and the place felt like home. The house is really good and the work is easy and you have different tasks during your stay like working in the school to help with the rentals and the lessons, taking pictures of the lessons, helping in the cafe or cleaning the house. You have a lot of time to explore nearby beaches or cities and of course go surfing or even kayaking and coasteering! This place has such good vibes :)

I had absolutely the best time at the guest house! I felt very welcomed by Mauro and everyone else. All the people there are super nice 🌞 The daily tasks are easy and feel more like fun than work. On top of that, the volunteers have a lot of free time to chill, to go kayaking or canjoneering, to explore the surrounding areas etc.

Highly recommended if you want to enjoy the surf life 🤙🏼 Mauro is the best host and the employes in the guest house makes you feel like home. In your free days you can explore the beaches and take free surf lessons!

It was a nice experience being in Albufeira, you get to learn and try out surfing which is great. I got to help out at the surf school and take photographs of the surfers at the surf lessons, the work is fun and easy. the guest house cafe is also nice and has a good vibe. It is very calm in the Algarve region at this time of the year, while in the summer there is lots more activities here. I can recommend this place to anyone interested in the surfing the guest house! :)

That was my second trip with Worldpackers I stay 1 month in the guest house. I can't describe to you how Maria lovely welcomed me and show me the house. After that, we've been together with others all the time. Sadly I had to come back home earlier than I want, but anyway it was an unforgettable experience and also for me because I got food intolerance and it was nice to cook in the modern kitchen too. Mauro is a great host + friendly person, I've never worked before and for me, it was amazing to rent the surfs and wetsuit. I've surfed a lot and have also been on a Kayak tour. AMAZING!

People in surf school are super welcoming and fun to work with. Tasks are easy, working in surf rental or in a cafe. You'll have a lot of free time to explore the outstanding nature near the house, take part of surf lessons or visit other cities in Portugal. The place is a bit out of the city centre so be prepared to pay some money for taxi/ bus tickets. I met amazing people from all over the world and shared a house with other volunteers who felt like a family. Even during off season it was super fun, the vibes were great and must be even better during the summer. Definitely recommend!!

It was a good experience, in the house I met so many beautiful people to have fun with, living in a house with only young people is great. The work is simple and enjoyable and you can surf whenever you want, the same for kayak and sup. The place is quiet and full of different beaches. Mauro and Chico are two kind and nice people, the only thing to say is that the organization is usually not good. To explore the Algarve you have to spend some money on transport because often there are no good connections, but in the end it is worth it!

This place is really great- the vibes are good and people sweet. The job is either in the surf rental where you rent boards out or in the cafe where you help with making the drinks, cleaning dishes and taking orders. Both fairly simple and the ones who work there is really helpful (and incredibly funny). The shifts are short and you have the rest of the day to surf, explore and make fun things with the other volunteers. Keep in mind that if you are travelling here in the winter months then there won't be a lot of things happening or people around. Though I'm sure it's amazing in summer!

The guest house is really chill. People are nice the job is super easy. It may be easier to have your own car to explore and enjoy the surroundings. My bad for coming in low season.. the experience must be even better with a beautiful summer weather! Thanksss
