I really had a great time here. I helped with the kayak and stand up paddling tours it was only four hours and the work was fun. I really liked that you could go on the kayak and stand up paddling tours for free as well as take free surf lessons. One thing that could be improved is the cleanliness of the house. The kitchen is never clean and the rooms are cramped. Make sure you don't have a problem with staying with many people because the house is full and a lot of people will show up so very little privacy. All in all a nice experience I would recommend.

I had to take some time to adapt here, it wasn't exactly what I was expecting but it was still a great time! Everyone is super welcoming and easygoing. It was off-season so there wasn't much to do, so It's perfect if you're looking for lots of downtime to explore the city. You can see the community Is a little family. The only part that wasn't great was the lack of organization in scheduling, you only receive the work schedule the night before/morning of, so it's difficult to make any plans in advance. Other than that, I loved my time there and I thank all of the guest house for welcoming me!

I had an awesome time at the guest house! The work was super chill, especially because I went during the low season, and everyone there were super nice. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves the beach and surfing.

This was my first experience as a volunteer and was really really nice! The agreed tasks are easy, the dates and hours are always respected. Moreover flexibility and adaptability are some of the main features. Mauro and all the staff helped to create a enjoyable experience, they are engaged, inclusive and caring, everyone contributed to make my stay nicer. You have the opportunity to meet people from all over the world, enjoy the natural beauties and feel part of the guest house. I met amazing people, I thank all of them for the beautiful and significant experience!

Was my first volunteer experience with Worldpackers and it was so much fun! Came during low season so was super chill but I was lucky to be paired with two more volunteers that I became amazing friends with - The work is fun and relaxed, i loved chatting to the people renting boards and working with the rest of the team. Only advice would be to rent a car to be able to explore a the beautiful surroundings - it's hard to get around only by foot - but apart from that thank you so much for an amazing three weeks! :)

Working at the guest house for the last month was super! It was my first World Packers experience and from day one I felt so welcomed into the team. The volunteer house was so cool and really not that far from the school or rental shop where we had our shifts. The shifts itself were very manageable leaving lots of free time to surf or chill out. I will say that it would have been nice to have been given weekly rosters, as opposed to finding out our shift the night before. But overall it was such a great experience and I am so grateful to everyone I met for making it so special :)

This was my first Worldpackers experience and I don't think it can get much better than this! The jobs were easy, and Mauro and the team respected your work hours and was flexible if you needed time off or to change your work days. You can use the surfboards whenever you liked. The volunteers and workers all get along and I have made so many fun memories during my time. I would have loved to stay longer if I wasn't needing to travel the rest of Europe! If you like surfing or ocean activities and are looking to make some lifelong international friends I would 100% recommend this experience.

I am so happy that I had my first volunteer experience at the guest house because it was super in every way. The group is passionate and professional, it makes you want to join them. Albufeira opens up many possibilities for you, from partying to learning to surf spending time on the beaches. The house is big with common areas, perfect for making friends with everyone in the house. We had a great time together, it would never be enough :) I recommend it to everyone, because I left with the word "thank you" between my lips and in my heart 💛

This was my first Worldpackers experience and I am so grateful that I had such a nice host and great people around me. Mauro and his team are absolutely amazing, funny and chilled. They are flexible and always open to compromise when it comes to work. The other volunteers I met were amazing and we had such a great time together and unforgettable memories. Everything was provided for (towels, beds, sheets etc) Bicycles would have been amazing (they are broken in the backyard) because the place is a little bit outside and always taking the Uber was over time expensive.
