The Experience

Ola, we a water sports company here in Albufeira, we provide Surf lessons, sup and kayak tours and clift jumping activities! Also we have a new cafe near the gale beach called Zimzala surf culture. We need help on our activities, maintenance of the house, cafe and surf school! We are close to the beach! =)

My stay in the Surf School was a wonderful experience. The host was very welcoming and Kind. I always felt comfortable and safe, and I truly enjoyed the local the guest house and surroundings. Highly recommend!

Loved my stay! The work is fair and allows you to meet so many people and spend lots of time near and on the beach! The villa and the pool is a nice place to live, due to high season was very busy and full of lots of people but, for me, this was great as I loved making lots of new friends :) Sad to leave the algarve will miss the sunset and the gorgeous beaches!!!

The guest house and sup is a perfect place to be.I really loved my stay in there and I believe is one of or the best experience I had through worldpackers so far.The job is relaxed and the working hours are clearly communicated.The people from either surf school,the cafe or volunteers are very nice.You can in addition,to learn or try to learn the water sports they provide if it's fitting your program and it's a availability for both sides.The facilities are very good and the house provided.Its a place really worth visiting.Thank you the guest house for the experience,was lovely!

This was indeed a great experience. The place is surrounded by nature and you cannot miss a sunset on the beach. At my time the weather was not good, almost all the days were rainy and there were multiple storms but it was just a bad fortune. You can take surf lessons if they do not coincide with your duties and ofcourse ask Mauro to shift your duties accordingly (he is very accommodating). I met a lot of travelers and it was amazing how everyone had their different energy but same moto of living in the present. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone who loves sea , sunsets, laughs & hugs.

I had such an amazing time here. The work is easy and fun and the community of people at the guest house are so special.A few things worth mentioning to other volunteers, I would only recommend if you are social and easy going, down to go with the flow as organization is not always great. You are living in a house with a lot of other people so it can be messy and a little chaotic, so be willing to be considerate of cleaning and sharing a space with others. You can walk / bike to grocery store but everything else may require a longer bike ride or ordering a Uber/ bolt to get to surrounding areas
