This was my first experience as a volunteer and I absolutely loved it! The tasks and hours were fairly easy and as agreed on. And if you needed any help Mauro was always available. The rest of the team at the guest house was also super nice. The accommodation provided was perfect and very comfortable. I learned many things and gained new skills while being here. I definitely recommend this experience to everyone. the guest house will forever have a special place in my heart. Thank you to the whole team for such a great experience!

Volunteering at the guest house and the guest house was one of the most enriching experiences of my life. Mauro, Chico and João gave all the support from the first moment and that brought security and an incredible welcome. All volunteers and employees form a beautiful team committed to the company's the guest house. We live in a wonderful house and I am grateful to have spent these days here in direct contact with the splendid nature of the Costa de Albufeira. Many thanks to the guest house family for their love and patience, you will always have a place in my heart. Hope to return soon.

This was my first trip with Worldpackers, so I was quite anxious before I arrived. However there was no need to be. I was made to feel so welcome by Mauro, other staff and my flat mates. My time in the surf shop helped me gain more knowledge in the sport, which I am now keen to further improve! The atmosphere is super friendly and chill, and I highly recommend staying in this lovely environment!

I had a really good time !! I was able to use the boards whenever and to join lesson if I wanted to ! everyone was really nice and the wether was great ! I recommend it 🙌

It was my first trip with WP, so I was a bit anxious before arrival, especially since communication with Mauro was a bit low before arrival. But once I arrived, I really loved my stay at the guest house! The house, the Algarve region and the whole place was just magical! The team really felt like a family. The work was easy, however the task were not exactly the one agreed upon before arrival - which was not bad, just not what I expected. Sometimes things were a bit messy - but all in all I loved my time at the guest house and I will definitely be back to visit and improve my surfing skills even more!!!

Volunteering at the guest house was a pretty good experience to me. The tasks are easy to do (mine was to work at the surf kiosk, renting surf equipment and taking the surf lessons bookings) and it never exceed 4h of work as agreed. In exchange, it is possible to rent surfboards and wetsuits anytime or to join the surf lessons as well. Mauro is flexible and I could change my days off when I wanted. I felt like it was a really fair exchange. The all team is fun and nice. Also, the volunteer house, the Galé beach, the environment in general is magical. I will come back for sure!

It was an incredible experience that I recommend to anyone! The tasks were super flexible and Mauro is a super nice and collaborative person. You can surf whenever you want and all the locals are very friendly and help you! In the surfhouse I lived with many wonderful people with whom we became real friends, we come all from different countries and that's the best thing, when you can discover new people and new cultures! Really recommended, I wanted to stay more and probably I'll come back in the future!

Voluntariar na guest house foi uma experiência maravilhosa! Passei dias incríveis e conheci ótimas pessoas. As tarefas são muito tranquilas e você pode participar dos tours e aulas oferecidos por eles durante seu tempo off. A região de Albufeira é maravilhosa, com muitas praias e paisagens lindas para aproveitar enquanto estiver por la! Recomendo e sou muito grata pelos dias que passei la! 🌞

Mi experiencia en la casa ha sido increíble! Todo el equipo es super amable y te hacen sentir como en casa desde el primer día.🙌 Recomiendo este voluntariado a cualquiera que busque conocer y conectar con personas de todo el mundo, sumergirse en la cultura local además de estar rodeado de naturaleza y el mar🏄‍♂️🌊. Las horas de trabajo se respetan y el trabajo es muy dinámico y divertido. Y por si fuera poco también tendréis tiempo para descubrir la preciosa zona del Algarve. Los aventureros no os cansaréis🤠 Muy agradecido, la casa es una familia!🫶 Obrigado, un abrazo para todos🫂🇵🇹
