It was my first trip with WP, so I was a bit anxious before arrival, especially since communication with Mauro was a bit low before arrival. But once I arrived, I really loved my stay at the guest house! The house, the Algarve region and the whole place was just magical! The team really felt like a family. The work was easy, however the task were not exactly the one agreed upon before arrival - which was not bad, just not what I expected. Sometimes things were a bit messy - but all in all I loved my time at the guest house and I will definitely be back to visit and improve my surfing skills even more!!!

Volunteering at the guest house was a pretty good experience to me. The tasks are easy to do (mine was to work at the surf kiosk, renting surf equipment and taking the surf lessons bookings) and it never exceed 4h of work as agreed. In exchange, it is possible to rent surfboards and wetsuits anytime or to join the surf lessons as well. Mauro is flexible and I could change my days off when I wanted. I felt like it was a really fair exchange. The all team is fun and nice. Also, the volunteer house, the Galé beach, the environment in general is magical. I will come back for sure!

It was an incredible experience that I recommend to anyone! The tasks were super flexible and Mauro is a super nice and collaborative person. You can surf whenever you want and all the locals are very friendly and help you! In the surfhouse I lived with many wonderful people with whom we became real friends, we come all from different countries and that's the best thing, when you can discover new people and new cultures! Really recommended, I wanted to stay more and probably I'll come back in the future!

Voluntariar na guest house foi uma experiência maravilhosa! Passei dias incríveis e conheci ótimas pessoas. As tarefas são muito tranquilas e você pode participar dos tours e aulas oferecidos por eles durante seu tempo off. A região de Albufeira é maravilhosa, com muitas praias e paisagens lindas para aproveitar enquanto estiver por la! Recomendo e sou muito grata pelos dias que passei la! 🌞

Mi experiencia en la casa ha sido increíble! Todo el equipo es super amable y te hacen sentir como en casa desde el primer día.🙌 Recomiendo este voluntariado a cualquiera que busque conocer y conectar con personas de todo el mundo, sumergirse en la cultura local además de estar rodeado de naturaleza y el mar🏄‍♂️🌊. Las horas de trabajo se respetan y el trabajo es muy dinámico y divertido. Y por si fuera poco también tendréis tiempo para descubrir la preciosa zona del Algarve. Los aventureros no os cansaréis🤠 Muy agradecido, la casa es una familia!🫶 Obrigado, un abrazo para todos🫂🇵🇹

A minha experiência no Algarve não poderia ter sido melhor! O trabalho é muito tranquilo e o Mauro é um host muito flexível e atencioso, sempre disposto a ajudar. Nesse mês fiz amizades para uma vida inteira e vivi intensamente todas as experiências que Albufeira tem para oferecer! Recomendo para todos e já quero voltar 😍

Voluntariado muito tranquilo, além da possibilidade de fazer as atividades ofertadas pela empresa de forma gratuita que é um grande ponto forte. Conheci pessoas muito bacanas e me diverti muito! O Mauro é uma pessoa muito gente boa e flexível, vale a pena voluntariar com eles. ;)

Esta experiencia fue increíble, es una de las más gratificantes que haya tenido viajando porque los deportes acuáticos son algo nuevo para mi. El hospedaje es en un lugar hermoso, le gente con la que compartí es muy amigable y mejoré mi inglés, e igualmente creo que ayudé a otros con su español. Las tareas son sencillas, visité varias playas e hice buenos amigos, me divertí mucho, gracias miles a Mauro y a su equipo. ♥♥♥♥
