Thank you Matthew for allowing me to come and live this incredible experience at the hotel. As agreed the task are easy whether it is in housekeeping or in the kitchen and everyone in the staff is so friendly that you feel included from day one. I couldn't hope for a better place for my first experience.

I had an incredible time in the hotel, the staff are very welcoming and make me feel comfortable, the tasks are easy and well explain by the staff, we can use the hotel kitchen after 8 and is very well equipped, the room was nice. The hotel is surrounded by a lovely forest with donkeys, ponies and horses, there is a lot of nice towns and villages with beaches near by that I recommend to visit, I have improved my English and acquired new valuable experience. I highly recommend this place and I'm so grateful to all the staff and Matthew and David for the great opportunity.

My experience at the hotel was very positive, being my first volunteer, I believe I learned new skills in hospitality. The people were very kind, the host Matthew is polite and respects the volunteers. The managers and staff are also very nice. Brockenhust is a safe city with many natural beauties. You can take the train to visit several nearby cities, including going to the beach. I would definitely recommend the hotel for volunteering. You will be respected and given the opportunity to improve your English.

I had a such good time at the hotel. All the staff were very patience teaching me how to do the work. The job is easy btw, somedays are busy but you can definitely handle it. Also I have no doubt you're gonna make some friends there and if you like to be in contact with the nature this is the right place (take a ride by bike to the forest). Thank you Matthew for this opportunity and Huw and all the staff and volunteers team for supporting me at my time at the hotel. For sure I would recommend this experience!

Great time at the Hotel. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, especially the manager Huw, who's always kind, patient, and ready to teach us. The tasks are easy and pretty much housekeeping or basic things in the kitchen. It's a good place to improve your English if you're really engaged in that. The city is small and peaceful, and you can explore nature and other cities nearby by train easily. The station is very close to the hotel. It was a very valuable experience for me! Thanks Matthew, the hotel staff, and the Worldpackers volunteers who were there with me!

My time at the hotel was amazing! The host and the staff members were very welcoming and made me feel at home. The job varies from housekeeping and working in the kitchen, it's very simple and the staff members are always up to teach and help. This was my first volunteer where I got to have my own room and they pay back the money we spend on food during the week. I definitely recommend this experiences to anyone who's looking to have a good time in UK.

The hotel was my first ever volunteering experience. From day one it felt just like home, and the people I met along the way were like a family to me! I spent one month meeting the locals and the staff, with the opportunity to meet not only the British but also other international volunteers, broadening my world view. The village of Brockenhurst is a relaxed and peaceful environment. The agreed times where respected and tasks where easy to perform. Thanks Matthew for the experience and I'll make sure to head back as soon as the opportunity arises! Cheers!

My time at the hotel has been great. The host and the team were very welcoming. The job varied from house keeping to working in the kitchen, but it wasn't difficult. Plus this was the only volunteer job I've had where i got my own room. Very old school, but comfortable. I'm going to miss this place. I'd recommend anyone wanting to get out the city, meet friendly locals, and get in tune with nature to come here. Thanks Thatch the hotel 👍

Good experience, beautiful hotel. You mainly work on weekends and some days during the week, the work load it's ok, between housekeeping and help in the kitchen as a dishwasher. On your free time you can take bikes from the hotel or you can visit different towns nearby. Brockenhurst is a small town with a couple of bars and restaurants, if you are looking for a quite experience, you will like it.
