Most days the work is easy and light. It is only a little harder if there are the lodge to clean. I loved the calm and beauty of the place, and the way they welcomed me and made me feel at home. And I am simply in love with the dogs. I recommend it to anyone who wants a calm place close to nature. I will miss the place, the people and definitely the incredible and loving Heimi and Malkie.

The experience was very good, it was my first time in the United Kingdom. The area where this volunteering is located is beautiful, it has incredible landscapes. Mrs. Irene and Cris were always very kind, their house is very nice and the room for the volunteers is excellent. It was good to help them with simple cleaning and gardening tasks, taking two dogs for a walk that are very adorable. Together with her granddaughter Loren, she cleans the lodge during the week. She is a person with a very good attitude and is very funny. On our days off we go for walks in the lodge or swim in the river.

I loved the experience! Irene is a great host. She is respectful, kind and friendly. We also spent time with Cris and Lauren, they care about your stay and your activities in the lodge. The best thing about volunteering is absolutely the dogs. Himi and Mockie are really sweet. They are always looking for you to accompany you and spend time with you. The house is in the middle of nature, has amazing nature trails and is very close to the river. It is perfect to disconnect and spend some quiet time.

Dalavich was my home for 3 months. Irene and Chris welcomed me warmly and provided me with the best experience. I was happy during my volunteer time there. The tasks don't have strict schedules, and there are two main areas to help: cleaning the lodge with Lauren and assisting Irene at the house. Sometimes you may work a lot in one day and less on others, and occasionally spend several consecutive days helping Lauren, but everything can be resolved through communication. The experience is excellent, and I highly recommend it, especially for those seeking a more isolated place.

What I can say from my experience is that I made a second family, you really feel a member of them. Working with the cleaning of Cabains is not difficult, from to execute even for those who do not experience you like me, even more with the best teachers Georgia and Lauren, the ride with Hamish and Malky is the fun of the day, Chris a very special guy and a great cook Scottish and Irene simply fantastic, patient, gentle and a great cook. What I can say is that I recommend and intend to return soon to review everyone and live special moments that I lived there.
