My experience at the hostel was amazing! truly a home away from home, i even ended up extending my stay. The work is simple and easily manageable. Ivan, Alisa & Denis were so welcoming and supportive. I would consider them very good friends and will always come to visit them if i am back in Bosnia! There is a 2 bed volunteer room which is nice to get some privacy. I would 100% recommend this experience to anyone willing and able to help out and complete the work agreed on!! The hostel has become a home away from home, all the staff is very welcoming and caring. The shifts are respected and the tasks are simple enough and manageable. The location is unbeatable to go to different parts of the city or other cities, I loved my time in the hostel, thank you Ivan, Dennis, Alisa, Aida and Paige <3

Staying at the Vagabonds Hostel was a really nice experience. The hostel receives people from all over the world, so it's easy to make new friends and learn more from different cultures. The employees are always nice and caring. Had a great time there working with Alisa, Denis and Uma. The tasks are easy and always done together, which gives you more free time to explore the city. Sarajevo is truly charming, and its people are incredibly welcoming.

The hostel team really made me feel like one of their own! I loved getting to know all of the staff and other employees. The hostel always had a super welcoming vibe that was easy to fit right into and that translated into a fun, relaxed, social environment for guests as well. My responsibilities were always super clear and fair. Ivan and his team were always happy to accommodate any breaks I wanted so I could travel around more! Really enjoyed my stay!

The hostel gave me an unparalleled experience in every way, meeting new people and being able to be more immersed in the culture allowed me to appreciate this country more, the work team and Ivan are people that I will remember with great affection. I had a great experience at the hostel and it definitely contributed a lot for the great time I also had in Bosnia. Sarajevo is now one of my favorite cities in Europe. Aida, the owner is very kind and flexible. I asked her consecutive days off, so I could travel, she didn't hesitated in giving it. The tasks are simple and not boring, I was doing the night shift three times a week, it's long hours, but it's ok. Just three days 😉 The location of the hostel is awesome. And the atmosphere there is very familiar. I strongly recommend everyone to volunteer there.

The hostel was my best experience so far. They respect and value the volunteers like part of their family! The hours and tasks are very fair and both the volunteers and the staff do the same sort of tasks (even the owner of the hostel joins in sometimes)! I genuinely felt like I was leaving home again the day I left and I'll definitely be back!

I end up extending my stay for another month because this hostel is amazing!! daily tasks are so easy to make, working hours couldn't be better.. this place feels like home! the location is great btw, definitely planning on coming back :)

One of the best experience in my life like worldpacker, If you want a place to share an awesome experience and to learn about culture with two beautiful ladies from Bosnia, Maja, and Aida, with a lot of recommendation to do here in Sarajevo, The hostel is a quiet place to be a digital nomad, I spend more time that I was thinking because I working and its a good place for learning the new language because all the guests are from of different countries. The activities to do normally like the other hostels. Learning and Enjoy, well its a good place to learn about life.
