I stayed one month on the hostel and was an amazing experience, Aida is a good host and easy going person, the hostel is working perfectly, and the staff is really nice! I was working at the night shift and was an easy and calm work time, even during the NYE. The hostel is located at the heart of Sarajevo, best location, and the city is one place you have to stay longer, one of the best cities that I've ever been. Thanks for everything Aida ( Por Favor ) and Maja!!! Hope to see you soon.

My time in Sarajevo unfortunately was really short. I loved the city, mix of cultures and cheapest options to eat and enjoy outside, but I left because was like scam my experience there. The host was distant and didn't manage volunteers correctly, the relationship must be a mutual help no free workers. The agreement wasn't respect and worked long shifts, 6 hours on night and 6 more on day first hours, total 12 hours and finished tired, and needed more time to recover yourself if you want to wander in the city. Was not fair to me, but maybe it's fine for freelancer volunteers or similar. Luck!!

Paula has been a good volunteer, but she complained about everything. There has been a period of couple of days in between the volunteers where I asked her to work a bit more and she got paid to do it. Paula is not a proactive person and you have to tell her everything she needs to do. Very tiring.

My experience in the hostel was beatiful. I came from a super good experience in Zagreb and I had big expectations and this hostel really complied it. The staff is super friendly, you start to feel like part of the family pretty soon. Aida is a comprehensive host, I had a couple of problems during my stay and she helped me and acted in an outstanding way. The tasks are super fair, I made nightshift and the work was easy, but of course, you have to show compromise and do your tasks well as it's expected. I just hope to come back and stay with them soon, the hostel is awesome! :)

Outstanding experience! Aida and her team made my two month in Sarajevo be like a holiday with a family. I have a great time, the job was super relax and flexible, I was able to travel on my free time and make a lot new friends. Beautiful hostel, in an amazing building and a fantastic location. We are now friends and I will be definately going back to work with them or to visit and catch up. I super recommend Hostel Vagabonds!

Was really good stay at the hostel. Maja and Aida were always friendly and sweet, thanks for everything! The tasks are not difficult and you learn everything in the first days. Sarajevo is amazing and I look forward to come back!

The hostel is a relaxed and nice hostel, very near the historical part of the city! Sarajevo is a very interesting city, cultural and historically. I was lucky to see those beautiful mountains with the first snow this winter :D

Hi! I'm Juliana and I'm a Scout from Worldpackers team :) Aida runs the hostel which is located in her family's former house once destroyed during the Bosnian war, full of history. She is passionate about her job and the hostel, making her a lovely host - cozy decorations, warm environment, cheery rakjia drink... She is funny, friendly and very hospitable. La experiencia fue increíble! Más que un equipo, es una familia y me sentí parte en todo momento. Ivan es un gran anfitrión, siempre dispuesto a hacerte sentir cómodo, si necesitas un cambio en tus turnos lo tiene en cuenta y esta ahí siempre para guiarte o ayudarte con tus tareas. Y qué decir de Alisa, Denis y Aida? Son personas increíbles. Los voy a extrañar muchisimo! 🥹 Las tareas consisten en recepción y ayudar con la limpieza (nada complejo) las horas se respetan SIEMPRE. Si estas buscando un lugar donde voluntariar en Sarajevo, el hostel es el lugar ideal! Gracias por todo amigos! 💗

Ivan, Denis, Aida y Alice forman una familia increíble que te hace sentir en casa desde el primer día. El ambiente es divertido, las tareas se reparten con claridad y siempre hay alguien apoyándote. Como nómada digital, encontré buen internet y espacios cómodos para trabajar. Sarajevo es pequeña pero llena de historia, perfecta para explorar. Gracias por hacer de mi estancia algo tan especial. Los voy a extrañar mucho. Espero volver!
