This was an amazing opportunity!! First off, Glyn & Dan were beyond fantastic!! Very loving and welcoming! As soon as I met them I knew I was going to love them! Second off!! The king of the house Pancho was the best! Once he warms up to you, he'll always want to be around you! He loves playing and being chased! He is the most handsome king in all of the land! The work was very easy and straightforward. I typically started work in the late morning and ended in early afternoon. Then you have the rest of the day! The beach is only about fifteen minutes walk. And tons of pubs! Highly recommend!

Thank you for your kind words Michael we really loved having you, all the conversations and laughter we had together! We were very happy to accommodate your late morning start preferences. and we admired the way you threw yourself with into local life with yoga on the beach, line dancing and dragon making clubs! By the way, you've taken the sunshine with you so ya'll come back soon! Enjoy Vietnam and know you have a place in our hearts. Big hugs and bites from Pancho!

It was my first volunteering and I'm sure that it was the best experience. You were kind and patients to me from the first day to the last. Always I will be grateful with you. Dan thank you for teach me to play the guitar. Glyn thanks for the good meals and for the english lessons. Pancho became a good friend to me, thanks Pancho for dance with me the last day. 😂. I definitely enjoyed my stay with you. Glyn, Dan, Pancho, Teignmouth and the sea will be in my heart forever. By the way, I miss you and I miss saturdays when we went to visit new places. 💖 I hope to see you soon. 🤗

My experience during the voluntary work was very rewarding, Glyn and Dan are very kind people who are always looking out for you and help you in any situation, the jobs are very rewarding, from general cleaning of the house, painting, varnishing, to taking care of the little dog Pancho who is very naughty and funny, Teignmouth is a small, quiet and pretty town with a lot of history, a perfect place to immerse yourself in nature and the daily life of an English family.

I spent a month with Glyn, Danny and Pancho and I couldn't have asked for anything better as my first world packers experience. Glyn and Danny were so inviting and instantly made me feel welcomed and they loved to show me the best that Devon had to offer. The work tasks required were completely reasonable and they were always checking in with me to make sure I felt comfortable with whatever they asked for me to help with :))

Glyn and Danny are great people and I am truly glad my first experience as a worldpacker was with them and Pancho . I think tasks are reasonable and if they feel they can rely on you you will feel the same way, I will suggest to be open to understand different perspectives, people coming from other continents like me may feel that comments are straightforward and we are used to soften them but it is all about not taking anything personal and being able to let them know what you feel. They were always interested in my well being. I think we had a great time and worked as a great team.

Glyn replied

Thanks for your feedback Claudia although some of it has puzzled me. There was only one thing when you stayed that we had a miscommunication about, and I thought we straighted that out promptly at the time, and very amicably.
We certainly did our very best to make you feel welcome, to ensure you enjoyed your time with us, and to help you, especially on your last day with all the trouble over your luggage. I hope you will remember those times, rather than the one incident I thought had been forgotten .
Anyway, wishing you well for the rest of your travels, I'm sure you'll have a great time!
