The experience at the hostel was amazing, they take a lot of care to create the properly team in each moment, during my almost 6 months i share the experience with a lot of people and i can say that every volunteer who arrive have something special. The flexibility with the work is amazing having 4 days free every week, that allows to visit other places or enjoy with the team, and the tasks are not really difficult or hard and helps a lot to improve English, 5 months ago I didn't expect that i could be write this in English. Thank you for the opportunity, will be always in my heart!❤️

The manager of this hostel is simply outstanding. Izzy is a gifted leader with exceptional talent and a remarkable personality. She's one of the most noteworthy individuals you'll encounter in Oxford. What's more, you'll discover a wealth of fascinating and impressive people among the volunteers and guests at the hostel. While the workload may be a tad demanding, you'll still have ample opportunity to explore the city and its surroundings.

Volunteer at the hostel was great! I made friends for life! I think the work of the owners + volunteers team makes the hostel an amazing place, extremely well administered, clean and organized! The tasks are easy and the hours are extremely respected. Also they frequently promote events for the team like barbecues and games as much for the guests. The location is just perfect 5 min walk from the center where you have all kinds of things to explore. Oxford is a lovely city with beautiful nature and architecture. I recommend CB so much that now after 10 days I'm back again 🤍

This was my first volunteering experience and I couldn't have asked for a better place to do it. I spent 3 amazing months here, have met so many great people that are now friends and I have grown personally. I felt included right away, the team is fantastic and the job is easy. This felt like a home. I will miss this place ❤️ 100% recommend this experience. Thank you CB team!!

I loved my time with the hostel! The volunteers really work to make you feel like you're a part of the community and I made some amazing friends with the team there. The work schedule is about 25 hours per week, so I had the rest of the time to explore the city and even go on some small trips around the UK! Would highly recommend this experience :)

Volunteering at the hostel was an unique experience. I had fun, learned new skills and got friends for life. The hostel is located in the city centre, near supermarkets, the bus and the train station and with great night life. The tasks are reasonable and the working hours are completely respected. Oxford is a remarkable city and the hostel is truly a place where you can feel at home. That's how I feel after 3 months - which went by so quickly. I'm gonna miss this place and these people. I am grateful for everything I experienced and absolutely recommend staying here.

This was a good experience where I could learn a lot. This hostel is well organized and clean, guests highly praised these two items. Also very safe. Very kind guests and staff as well. I am grateful for the opportunity given. Thanks to the managers and owners for their trust in my work and I hope to be able to come back and visit them when possible.

I had a great time at the hostel! It was easy to become part of the team and I felt welcomed from the beginning. Every week is different because you meet guests from different countries and backgrounds all the time. Oxford itself is a great city if you're looking for something that isn't too big but you can still discover new things all the time. It was my first experience and I would definitely recommend it.

The hostel quickly becomes a home. No week is quite the same, and there are always new ways to spend your attention. Oxford, the city itself, is more than worth a visit. the hostel' location is absolutely ideal — either for exploring Oxford or popping on a train headed towards another adventure. Thank you guys, I've learned quite a bit!
