My time at CBO was truly unforgettable. I made friendships that'll last a lifetime, and I was fortunate enough to have experiences that I'll be talking about for years to come. One of the main highlights of my time at CBO was having the privilege of working with the manager Izzy. She creates an atmosphere at the hostel that only gives off good and positive vibes. You will never have a boss quite as great as Izzy, I can guarantee you that. Another thing are the other volunteers. You quickly go from strangers to family, and the daily tasks can be a bit demanding, but it's honestly worth it.

This experience at the hostel was amazing. You can not dream of a better one, that was my first experience and it was more than what I was expecting. The life at the hostel makes you feel like home, the team will make you feel like family, the managers are amazing. The work can be hard at the beginning, but fair, and the team is really comprehensive and flexible. Do not hesitate, that is the perfect place to start volunteering or do your next one.

CB was my first Worldpackers experience and I'm so thankful for that. After 3 months living and working here, this place becomes a home. The manager and the team are amazing, you always have someone to talk too, drink with or go out with. The hours and worked stated are respected and they are so flexible and understanding regarding when you can work.

My experience at CBO was absolutely wonderful, the best 6 months of my life. It's been an honor and a delight to be part of such amazing team. The location of the hostel is right in the centre of Oxford so everything is a short walk away! Work is easy and well organized, and since the working hours are well respected you get plenty of free time to visit Oxford and travel around the UK. I've met the loveliest people on earth and have made friends for life. Special thanks to the manager, for being the most approachable, funny and kindest friend and leader one could ever have.

My stay at CBO was one of the highlights of the past few years. It felt like living in a family, I will be always glad for the time spent in the hostel and for the people I met. The city is lovely and due to the management and the flexibility of the shifts it is possible to travel around the UK. If you look for an opportunity to grow and learn this is the right place. My stay at CBO was truly wonderful. The team made me feel welcome and at home, which I didn't necessarily expect to happen before my arrival. The work is doable (sometimes even fun;) ) and as working days are quite flexible I was able to explore Great Britain every once in a while. It was an amazing experience and I will hold the memories I've made and things I've learnt close to my heart. Thank you :)

The experience at the hostel was amazing, they take a lot of care to create the properly team in each moment, during my almost 6 months i share the experience with a lot of people and i can say that every volunteer who arrive have something special. The flexibility with the work is amazing having 4 days free every week, that allows to visit other places or enjoy with the team, and the tasks are not really difficult or hard and helps a lot to improve English, 5 months ago I didn't expect that i could be write this in English. Thank you for the opportunity, will be always in my heart!❤️

The manager of this hostel is simply outstanding. Izzy is a gifted leader with exceptional talent and a remarkable personality. She's one of the most noteworthy individuals you'll encounter in Oxford. What's more, you'll discover a wealth of fascinating and impressive people among the volunteers and guests at the hostel. While the workload may be a tad demanding, you'll still have ample opportunity to explore the city and its surroundings.

Volunteer at the hostel was great! I made friends for life! I think the work of the owners + volunteers team makes the hostel an amazing place, extremely well administered, clean and organized! The tasks are easy and the hours are extremely respected. Also they frequently promote events for the team like barbecues and games as much for the guests. The location is just perfect 5 min walk from the center where you have all kinds of things to explore. Oxford is a lovely city with beautiful nature and architecture. I recommend CB so much that now after 10 days I'm back again 🤍

This was my first volunteering experience and I couldn't have asked for a better place to do it. I spent 3 amazing months here, have met so many great people that are now friends and I have grown personally. I felt included right away, the team is fantastic and the job is easy. This felt like a home. I will miss this place ❤️ 100% recommend this experience. Thank you CB team!!
