Volunteer at CB is a great option to learn about hostel and team work, improve English and make friends. I enjoyed the activities they do like movie night, Sunday dinner or games night; it's an environment where you can socialize with everyone. They have a really good location just in the city center, so you can explore everything by walking (restaurants, pubs, clubs, mall, market and other stuff near by). About the work, they'll train you to da proper job in the hostel, the activities are okay and they're flexible with the schedule! The team was amazing, thanks for having me:)

The hostel is a good place to know Oxford and other nearby cities, the hostel is a good place with fun people that are always willing to help, it was definitely a good place for me and an experience that I will always remember, the tasks are not difficult at all and whenever you want you can agree on your days off. Mt experience in CB was such an amazing experience as my first volunteer. The team as incredible. We created awesome memories together. We made a home far from home. Was good to have a team that was always trying to help each others. I'll miss all of them. The tasks aren't difficult, it's a small hostel which makes easier, the schedule is very flexible, the location is good, and have spaces in the kitchen just for the staffs its a very good point as well. Was also good could share our ideas about little changes and create new events/ activities with the team and the guests.

The hostel was a huge surprise for me! The hostel is well located, the shifts are fairly distributed and completely flexible. You work in cleaning, housekeeping, reception or social media(if you like). The manager is open to new suggestions that can benefit the hostel and the volunteers. You get 3 to 4 days off. The hostel owners are a bit demanding.I had incredible moments that I will never forget! I made unexpected friendships that I can call family—people I will carry with me forever. The connection and cultural exchange are a unique experience. Thank you for everything, CB team!

I loved my time apart of the hostel Team and Family! From day one I knew what to expect as well as what was expected from me.
