My time at CBO was nothing short of life changing! I have made some of the closest friends I have ever had, and have made some pretty incredible memories. The shifts aren't bad and you have SO much free time. Izzy and Romane were amazing managers, and they definitely made the atmosphere very welcoming and enjoyable from the very beginning. The schedule is also extremely flexible and they work with you to see what works best for you each week. I will never forget my 4 months in Oxford and will always be incredibly grateful for the friends and memories I have made while I was here 💕 #CBF

I was part of the hostel Family for a little over 3 months. The work is just as described and there is always somebody to support you if it gets too overwhelming. However, the best part of this experience is the people you get to work and live with. From the day you arrive and get welcomed by this kind and funny team it feels like home. The manager Izzy creates an open and nonjudgmental environment and makes sure that everybody is comfortable. Izzy and Romane are by far the best managers I ever had. I will never forget the fun I had and the friends I made here :))

Everyone in the hostel was very welcoming, kind and sociable since the beginning of the experience. It's been a great experience for me, Oxford is a great city, Izzy is a marvelous manager, I couldn't have asked for a better manager! Her and the other volunteers hospitality and kindness made Oxford feel like a home away from home. I really enjoying my time in Oxford and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a chance to discover this part of the UK! CBF 🫶🏽

About the hostel, I can say that I am very happy to have chosen this place as my first experience with Worldpackers. The amount of work is fair, the schedules are very respected and they give you a lot of flexibility. The highlight, though, is definitely Izzy and the volunteers who create a friendly and fun environment where it's easy to feel welcome. I am very grateful for my time in the hostel. I will always remember it :)

My stay at the hostel was amazing. The work is more than fair and they are flexible with dates which is great. I was lucky to share my experience with the best group of volunteers possible, who have become friends for life. Couldn't have asked for better people than Izzy and Romane to manage us, they were very close to everyone and made the relationship between all of us much better. Definitely the best managers I had and will have. Overall, very glad that I chose this place. Greatful for the good time!

My time at CBO was truly unforgettable. I made friendships that'll last a lifetime, and I was fortunate enough to have experiences that I'll be talking about for years to come. One of the main highlights of my time at CBO was having the privilege of working with the manager Izzy. She creates an atmosphere at the hostel that only gives off good and positive vibes. You will never have a boss quite as great as Izzy, I can guarantee you that. Another thing are the other volunteers. You quickly go from strangers to family, and the daily tasks can be a bit demanding, but it's honestly worth it.

This experience at the hostel was amazing. You can not dream of a better one, that was my first experience and it was more than what I was expecting. The life at the hostel makes you feel like home, the team will make you feel like family, the managers are amazing. The work can be hard at the beginning, but fair, and the team is really comprehensive and flexible. Do not hesitate, that is the perfect place to start volunteering or do your next one.

CB was my first Worldpackers experience and I'm so thankful for that. After 3 months living and working here, this place becomes a home. The manager and the team are amazing, you always have someone to talk too, drink with or go out with. The hours and worked stated are respected and they are so flexible and understanding regarding when you can work.

My experience at CBO was absolutely wonderful, the best 6 months of my life. It's been an honor and a delight to be part of such amazing team. The location of the hostel is right in the centre of Oxford so everything is a short walk away! Work is easy and well organized, and since the working hours are well respected you get plenty of free time to visit Oxford and travel around the UK. I've met the loveliest people on earth and have made friends for life. Special thanks to the manager, for being the most approachable, funny and kindest friend and leader one could ever have.

My stay at CBO was one of the highlights of the past few years. It felt like living in a family, I will be always glad for the time spent in the hostel and for the people I met. The city is lovely and due to the management and the flexibility of the shifts it is possible to travel around the UK. If you look for an opportunity to grow and learn this is the right place. Thank you again to everyone for these months spent together!
