The Experience

We are looking for a friendly and responsible volunteer to help at reception and assist our guests during their stay. Tasks include welcoming guests, check-in/check-out support, providing local information, guiding guests around the area, and helping create a warm and social atmosphere. Good communication skills, positive attitude, and basic English are required. Previous hospitality experience is a plus but not mandatory.

This was my first Worldpackers experience and it was great! Endri was a wonderful host, always making sure my partner and I were comfortable. The staff was also excellent and they clearly respected each other and the volunteers. The work was very simple and we still had plenty of time to enjoy the city. This was my first Worldpackers experience and I'm so happy that it was! Endri was an amazing host. He was always looking out for my partner and I and made sure we had everything we needed. The rest of the staff were also amazing, you could tell they had a lot of respect for each other and the volunteers. The work itself was self explanatory, we mainly just helped out whenever and wherever we were needed. I loved that it gave us more than enough time to really see Shkodër. I would absolutely love to comeback in the summer to revisit the city and the hostel. Thank you Endri:)

I was volunteering in the hostel and the hostel it was quite because its low season i learned a lot from kitchen there working every break made some toast and other things. Endri and o ther guys in the hostel was so nice it was a chillin stay and clam. Thank you so much Endri

The owner is good person, same for the staff. the hostel area is very nice, location is 10 out of 10. They're also very flexible. However, communication and organization could definitely use some improvement. A lot of details may bring every day surprises that shouldnt exist. Its one of those places they just rely a lot on short term volunteers to do everything themselves, which in my opinion is counting on lucky and not best approach. Good place after all, I recommend them.
