The experience

We are looking for a friendly and responsible volunteer to help at reception and assist our guests during their stay. Tasks include welcoming guests, check-in/check-out support, providing local information, guiding guests around the area, and helping create a warm and social atmosphere. Good communication skills, positive attitude, and basic English are required. Previous hospitality experience is a plus but not mandatory.


What you offer

Tour Guide: Organize and lead tours around the city.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

Requirements

Beginner Italian or Beginner English

Between 18 and 40 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

Our volunteer program is designed to offer a cultural exchange experience in a friendly and welcoming environment. Volunteers help at reception and support guests while also having time to explore the area and enjoy local culture. We aim to create a positive, respectful, and social atmosphere where volunteers feel like part of the team.


Activities & Shift

Volunteers help with reception duties such as welcoming guests, assisting with check-in and check-out, answering questions, giving local tips, and guiding guests when needed. Shifts are organized in advance, usually 4–5 hours per day, leaving free time to relax, explore, or socialize.


Rules

Volunteers are expected to be respectful, punctual, and responsible. A friendly attitude towards guests and staff is essential. Volunteers should follow house rules, keep shared areas clean, and communicate openly with the team. Alcohol or disruptive behavior during working hours is not allowed.
