The working hours are not long; they are quite short, and the job is not demanding. We have a total of 32 beds and a person who thoroughly cleans during the night shift, so we mainly need someone at the reception. It is important to leave clean bathrooms for the next shift and have the beds ready. We are located in the city center, in a great location, and so far, we have had many volunteers, all of whom have left satisfied.

Volunteers are treated with respect and appreciation. I live in the same building, so they can always reach out to me if they need anything. They only need to do their job during those four hours, and for the rest of the time, no one interferes or bothers them. If they need a day off or some special time, they should let me know in advance, and we will arrange everything.

Mi experiencia como voluntario en este hostal fue muy agradable. Maja es una persona muy amable y siempre estuvo dispuesta a ayudar. Darko, quien trabaja en el hostal, también es muy cercano y amistoso con los voluntarios, siempre disponible para apoyarte y resolver cualquier duda.

Los horarios acordados se respetaron desde el inicio. Como trabajo de forma remota y solo podía realizar mis tareas por la mañana, esto fue comprendido y respetado en todo momento, lo cual valoro mucho.

Recomiendo totalmente este hostal para quienes estén buscando una experiencia de voluntariado en Belgrado.

Maja She is a great person, respectful, professional but also has a friendly relationship with the volunteers, she is always available to help you with any information, tasks are very simple, receiving guests and doing some cleaning, after the shift you have all the time to visit the city, I have never had any problems , ... also Darko is a fantastic person ...The rooms provided are really comfortable and are shared with the other volunteers... I really recommend it...

The volunteer work is simple and based on trust, which removes pressure. However, the lack of follow-up and presence leads to disorganization, dirtiness, and some volunteers leaving tasks incomplete or undone.

There is no formal induction: only a wall sheet lists tasks without explaining how they work, forcing volunteers to make mistakes to learn, causing a sense of abandonment. Despite Maja's kindness, more presence and clear induction are needed. The lack of supervision also caused a serious issue by ignoring a very sick volunteer.
