Hostel Downtown Inn

The working hours are not long; they are quite short, and the job is not demanding. We have a total of 32 beds and a person who thoroughly cleans during the night shift, so we mainly need someone at the reception. It is important to leave clean bathrooms for the next shift and have the beds ready. We are located in the city center, in a great location, and so far, we have had many volunteers, all of whom have left satisfied.

Volunteers are treated with respect and appreciation. I live in the same building, so they can always reach out to me if they need anything. They only need to do their job during those four hours, and for the rest of the time, no one interferes or bothers them. If they need a day off or some special time, they should let me know in advance, and we will arrange everything.

I had very nice time in Downtown Inn Hostel. Maja is always there to help and Darko(the security guy) is very fun. Tasks are very easy and hours are 100% respected. I even thought about extending my stay here but i had to leave because i had another trip planned. I would definitely come back!

I had to leave before because of some personal issues I talked over with Maja.
The team at the Downtown Inn is great and always willing to give you a hand and to solve any questions when you need it, so I felt very supported in that regard :)
Maja is very organized with the schedule, and the agreed hours were always respected and fair, and also, the tasks were very clear and easy. Basically, you have to treat the space as you’d do in your own home.
The hostel is also in a good location, so it’s easy to get to some attactions on your days off.

My experience at Hostel Downtown Inn was amazing, the tasks are simple, you meet plenty of people and Maja and Darko are very sweet, they’re very flexible with the schedule and are always there to help.
The hostel is located in a privileged area close to the city center, markets and the recent renovations to the terrace, make me want to stay for longer.
If you want to experience Belgrade, this is a great place.
