The Experience

We are looking for a friendly and reliable volunteer to join our team as a night receptionist (00h-08h), 3days weekly in our hostel in Belgrade. Our hostel is located in the center of Belgrade, on the fifth floor without an elevator. Responsibilities: Welcoming guests and managing check-ins and check-outs Answering guest inquiries and providing local information Helping with general hostel tasks,including laundry (washing, drying, and folding)

I've had my first volunteer experience at the hostel Town the hostel and it was good, working hours are respected, tasks are easy and well organized. Maja is a great host and even if she's not physically always at the hostel you can reach her by phone at every moment if you need help. Darko, the night porter, is a funny guy that makes bond with volunteers very easily. You don't have to expect a modern party hostel but a more chill and relaxed one with the advantage that it's very well located near the city center. I spent two months here and I would recommend this place to anyone.
