I had an excellent time at Carcavelos Surf Hostel. Vitor, the host, and all the other volunteers were very friendly and welcoming as soon as I arrived. The working hours were well respected and the work itself is quite chill, although I was here in the off season. The nearby beach, just a 5 minute walk, is great for surfing and other outdoor activities. I had a great experience, would recommend.

I loved my first volunteer experience at a hostel. The atmosphere was relaxed, international, and full of positive energy. I met fantastic and, above all, very helpful people, improved my communication skills, and learned to challenge myself. It's located just steps from Carcavelos beach, perfect for those who want to learn to surf, or for anyone who wants to discover a little of Portugal. Thanks for everything!!! 🫶🏻🫶🏻

This was my first experience worldpackers experience ever and the start of my journey. I really enjoyed my stay and the host Vitor really cared about his volunteers. It's a good spot to check out the beautiful sights in Portugal and visit Lisbon.I really recommend this place but maybe not in the winter months.

Me encantó ser parte de esta experiencia, conseguí mejorar tanto mi inglés como mi portugués.
Pude tomar lecciones de surf conseguí mejorar mis compañeros y disfruté del centro de Lisboa.
La ubicación es excelente, estas cerca de la playa y cerca del tren para poder conocer sus alrededores como Sintra o Cascais.
El voluntariado es muy placentero. Lo imponente es mantener el orden, la limpieza y la comunicación!
