I had a fantastic time at the hostel, I met some wonderful people both fellow volunteers and hostel guests. I have walked away with lifelong friendships which I think is a testament to the great atmosphere at the hostel. Between the proximity to the beach as well as the easy commute in to Lisbon, the hostel is great in terms of accessibility for Worldpackers. Vitor was a wonderful host, our responsibilities were always clearly communicated yet the work load was fair and allowed for plenty of beach time!

The hostel was my house and a piece of my heart always will be there. This hostel, and people Who live there (volunteer, mensalistas etc) welcome me as if i were part of a family. I will never forget the deep conversations with Luis, the hugs with Vitor, and the laughter with Camis and the other volunteers. In Carcavelos I leave some of the most beautiful memories ever. Thank you for everything ❤️

Vitor was a lovely and approachable manager. The hostel is in a perfect location. The local surf beach is super friendly for beginners. The working hours are super fair & I even had the opportunity to go away and spend a few nights up north exploring on my days off!

Had such a chill and fun experience at the hostel in Carcavelos! ✨ Lots of volunteers and guests from all over the world, which made it super easy to connect and share good vibes. I got the chance to practice surfing, enjoy the pool in the summer, and explore Portugal while keeping up with some easy tasks during working hours. Great balance between helping out and having time to enjoy the place! 🌊☀️

The first day I arrived at the hostel, I immediately felt like part of the family. I learned a lot about Brazilian and Portuguese culture and enjoyed every single day! The working hours were really fair, and I loved the space where the volunteers stayed. Vitor made sure everyone felt comfortable, and you could talk to him if you had any concerns. I am so grateful for this experience, and I would have stayed longer if I could. The people are what make this place so special.
