I had a fantastic time at the hostel, I met some wonderful people both fellow volunteers and hostel guests. I have walked away with lifelong friendships which I think is a testament to the great atmosphere at the hostel. Between the proximity to the beach as well as the easy commute in to Lisbon, the hostel is great in terms of accessibility for Worldpackers. Vitor was a wonderful host, our responsibilities were always clearly communicated yet the work load was fair and allowed for plenty of beach time!

The hostel was my house and a piece of my heart always will be there. This hostel, and people Who live there (volunteer, mensalistas etc) welcome me as if i were part of a family. I will never forget the deep conversations with Luis, the hugs with Vitor, and the laughter with Camis and the other volunteers. In Carcavelos I leave some of the most beautiful memories ever. Thank you for everything ❤️

Vitor was a lovely and approachable manager. The hostel is in a perfect location. The local surf beach is super friendly for beginners. The working hours are super fair & I even had the opportunity to go away and spend a few nights up north exploring on my days off!

Had such a chill and fun experience at the hostel in Carcavelos! ✨ Lots of volunteers and guests from all over the world, which made it super easy to connect and share good vibes. I got the chance to practice surfing, enjoy the pool in the summer, and explore Portugal while keeping up with some easy tasks during working hours. Great balance between helping out and having time to enjoy the place! 🌊☀️

The first day I arrived at the hostel, I immediately felt like part of the family. I learned a lot about Brazilian and Portuguese culture and enjoyed every single day! The working hours were really fair, and I loved the space where the volunteers stayed. Vitor made sure everyone felt comfortable, and you could talk to him if you had any concerns. I am so grateful for this experience, and I would have stayed longer if I could. The people are what make this place so special.

I lived the best 9 months of my life at the hostel. 💙 The volunteers, together with Vitor and our amazing guests, brought out the best in me and embraced me in such a way that, before I knew it, I already loved everyone! There were countless laughs, serious conversations and moments I'll carry with me forever and I'm deeply grateful for every single second. I spent two amazing and unforgettable months in this hostel. Everybody is super cool, kind and funny , so it was very hard for me to leave this place behind. Also the hostel itself is not too big which makes almost everybody connect in a way that makes you feel like family, it feels like a second home. If you looking for a place where you can walk to the beach within 5 minutes and get to know a lot of funny and chill people, the hostel is the right place for you!!

Amazing hostel, the work is very simple and the shifts are short enough for you to enjoy your time at the beach or at the pool! The staff are all very kind and the volunteers were all amazing. I loved my time here and would come back in a heartbeat!

The people from the hostel are really open and super kind. The hostel is close to Lisbon and 3 minutes from the beach so the location is perfect. Vitor is a really nice guy and he is very help full if you have any problems. The tasks are pretty easy so you get a lot of free time to enjoy!
